I don't drink coffee often but when I do I like the frozen flavored coffees. I think they're more like desserts. Yummy. My dad used to (still might) eat peanut butter and mayo sandwiches. He never had to worry about us kids asking him to fix our lunch. That is just disgusting.

I was thinking the same. After lifting, I can manage about 20 mins of cardio but then I'm ready to fall out. Maybe I'm just more out of shape than I realized. That's a long time at the gym. I'm usually in and out in 45 mins or less. I'd keep the lifting and cut the cardio

I used the military body fat calculator. I have a scale that tells me my BF% and the military calculator is almost the same as the scale BF%. The original one gave a very low BF% and I can look at myself and see I am made up of more fat that what it says.

Did you make sure to change it to female? I'm 5'1" and it gave me a goal weight of anywhere between 105-135 at various BF%

I eat it like a second thanksgiving dinner and turkey sandwiches. it's probably why I only like turkey on Thanksgiving and right around then. I hardly ever eat any kind of turkey the rest of the year.

I changed mine to 25% but some days I have a hard time hitting that without protein bars. I noticed when I used to make the protein shakes with the powder, greek yogurt, berries, skim milk it was a big chunk of my calories so I stopped making them. Ahh ok. I was really thinking I needed to amp up the weights if you had progressed that much in just 4 weeks. But by the last rep of my last set I'm ready to put the weights down, lol so I'll keep plugging along at my pokey pace. It's so much more than I used to be able to do anyway so I'm happy

Have you only been lifting for 4 weeks? It says you gained 10# in 4 weeks, but you can deadlift 225?! I've been doing weight training for about 6 weeks and thought I was kicking *kitten* doing 105# deadlifts today! I'm such a wuss :laugh:

I'm doing stage 1 of NROLFW and both workouts take me about 30 mins or less. Sometimes a little longer depending on how much talking goes on in the weight room. I can tell a big difference from when I started.

I'm not sure about the dieting part but *I* think that exercising might have something to do with it. It releases all those "feel good" hormones and helps you be able to deal with stress better. I'm not a doctor, I don't even play on on TV. It's just my humble opinion :smile:

I went to the gym when I didn't feel like it and while I was there a guy said "Wow! A girl doing deadlifts!" and then he told me I had really good form! Maybe to some it's not the best NSV but it made me feel pretty damn badass :laugh:

Like someone else said, I log it under strength training because I wear my HRM and logging it on here can be kind of annoying. But I keep paper logs of what I do each time I go to the gym. When I did a video, like JM 30DS, I would log it under circuit training because it was both cardio and strength.
