I only lose motivation because of the amount of reps/sets. And it's not so much motivation I lose, I just start hurting prematurely, whining inwardly "But it's so hard to those in the right form every time...." 2 sets of 25 later, my delts are mad at me, and I'm weeping inwardly at the thought of doing it all again…

Someone else ITT said not to keep junk in the house, and that's legit. Apart from that, don't worry about too much about going over the calories, and don't think of it as an excuse to indulge. If you're gonna go over by 70-80 or even a hundred, go over, then stop. Binging will just undo all your hard work.

Chew gum, drink lots of water, try very hard not to think about it. :p But really, drink lots of water. I find that everything feels worse around that time if I'm even slightly dehydrated. Cravings, boob hurtage, the lot. Drinking lots of water seems to make things balance out.

Sadly, I have no links. However, I do know that 1200 - 1300 is waaaaaay too few calories for you. If 2592 sounds like too much to you, shoot for 2000. MFP gives me about 1200, but I am way shorter than you, (5' 3") and under 200lbs. I'm pretty sure starvation mode is different for everyone. I am equally sure that 1200 cal.…
