  • I am definitely addicted to food- a foodaholic, through and through. Before I started making dietary changes, I ate all day long and all the wrong foods. I ate to comfort myself when I was sad, ate when I was happy, excited, angry, etc etc. I ate when I was full. I would go to bed at night and literally dream of the food I…
  • Haha! Nice ;)
  • Mine is open- I eat the exact same thing every day- aside from my 'cheat' day, so it's pretty boring anyway! I don't mind sharing with people- I figure we're all on here for pretty much the same reasons, so I am happy to be open and honest about my journey. I do what works best for me and so far it's working pretty well :)
  • I'm nice! A bit too nice for my own good, most of the time ;) I have absolutely no 'guidelines' anyone has to follow to be my friend- I am more than happy to be friends with anyone on this site. We all need support and motivation, from time to time, and who am I to judge anyone else? I have my own issues to deal with! Thin…
  • I've dealt with weight issues for most of my adult life. Over the past 5 years, I really let myself go- weighing as much as 333 pounds at one point. I was in a very unhappy relationship (we're still living in the same house but we're not a couple- waiting for this house to sell before going our separate ways) and I ate to…
  • You look fabulous! You can definitely see a big difference. What a nice gift from your husband :)
  • Congratulations! That is amazing and you look fabulous. I love success stories like this- keeps me motivated :)
  • That's amazing! I wish I could do that. Congratulations on a job very well done :)
  • I weigh myself daily but only log it once a week. I have a cheat day once a week- usually Saturday.
  • I do an hour and a half of Tae Bo and 40 minutes of brisk walking/jogging combo everyday and it's helped me to lose 63 pounds since November 2011. I used to only do an hour of Tae Bo, but added the extra half an hour and walk/jog combo, last month.
  • SW- 310 pounds (November 1st 2011) CW- 247 pounds (March 10th 2012) GW- 125 pounds
  • I'm really loving this site! This is my second time joining and my first time reading through the message Boards- it's really nice to meet so many people who are all trying to improve their health and lose weight. I actually deleted my facebook and tagged account as I want to focus only on losing weight..so..this is the…
  • My childhood home (which my parents still live in) was often visited by ghosts and the unknown. Everyone in my family (accept for me) has seen a black floating presence, both inside and outside the house. When it has been seen inside the house, it always walks toward the same bedroom (interestingly enough- my old room),…
  • 1. I love spiders 2. I have BDD 3. I am extremlely shy until you get to know me- then you can't shut me up! 4. Two different physics told me I was Clara Bow in a past life. 5. I have never been in love.
  • I have about 130 pounds to lose. I started in November 2011 and am down 63 pounds. Still have a long way to go, but I am finding this site very helpful with a lot of support. Feel free to add me- that goes to everybody :)
  • I do Billy Blanks' Ultimate Tae Bo workout dvd and it's fabulous! I could never do workout dvds before, as I couldn't ever follow them and found the instructors weren't very helpful. Billy Blanks is an awesome motivator and he really keeps you going. I do this workout every day and it's made me feel so much stronger and…
  • I am a much happier person! I still have a lot of weight to lose, but the difference in how I feel now verses before I started making changes, is incredible. When I was at my highest weight of 310 pounds, I was miserable but also in denial about my weight. I knew I needed to lose weight, but I wasn't in the right mindset…
  • Likes: how much stronger and 'lighter' I feel getting some confidence back (still have to work on it) Having more control over my emotions Feeling happier with each passing day Dislikes: Looking at my body and knowing that even if I reach my goal weight, I will be left with loose skin, no boobs and probably a lot of other…
  • I'm 5'2" and 247 pounds and I am on 1200 calories a day. I was only eating 1,000 calories a day but MFP has me set at 1200 calories, so I make sure to eat as close to that as I can. I can honestly say that I rarely feel hungry and often I have to force myself to eat more during the day. I work out a lot each day as well,…
  • Hi there- At my highest weight, I was 310 pounds- which was November 2011. I've lost 63 pounds since then and even though I still have a long way to go, I am feeling so much better and happier about myself. When I first started working out, I could only do a brisk walk for about 3 minutes and then I was completely out of…
  • Hi! My name is Amy and I've been back on this site for a week now. I am finding it a great way to track my daily calorie intake and I am finding the messageboard a lot of help, with very inspiring stories. It helps to know that we're not alone in our weight loss journey, and there is a lot of support here. I have lost 63…
  • Congratulations..you look spectacular! Thanks for sharing your weight loss achievement; it's very inspiring :)
  • Hi everyone :) I've lost 60 pounds and still have another 120-130 pounds to go. I am 5'2" and 37 years old. I am here for anyone who needs support- feel free to add me :)
  • I am 5'2"...the highest weight I've been was 310 pounds. I am 248 pounds now and want to get down to 125 pounds.
  • I have lost 60 pounds and still have another 120-130 pounds to go, so I have a long road ahead of me. I joined this site about a week ago...I was a member late last year but didn't stick with it and stopped using the site. However, I am back again as I really want to control my calorie intake and see where I need to make…
  • I am on 1200 calories a day, but I earn a lot of calories back due to working out. I only ever use the extra calories on a 'cheat' day. I joined this site in November 2011, but didn't commit myself to using it daily and subsequently stopped using it altogether. I rejoined about a week ago and am committed to using the site…
  • I live with an extremely negative and not so nice man- we've had a terrible and rocky relationship for the past 8 years and are just waiting for this house to sell, so we can finally go our separate ways. When I first started on my weight loss journey, he would take every opportunity he had to put me down and make fun of…
  • I do the Billy Blanks Ultimate Tae Bo dvd workout. It's an hour and a half long, plus it has a 29 minute 'fat blaster' workout. I love this dvd and I usually have a very hard time following workout dvds. Billy Blanks is a great motivator- he really challenges you and motivates you throughout the entire dvd. He makes…
  • I won't judge anyone on this site. Losing weight is hard work and I am not here to judge anyone, just here to work on my own weight loss journey and to offer support to anyone who wants/needs it. I don't always manage to reach 1200 calories and sometimes the foods I eat aren't the best, but I do what works best for me, as…
  • I eat around 1,000-1,200 calories a day and have a 'cheat' day, usually once a week. I work out a lot and don't make up any calories for it, as I am trying to lose weight and it's working for me this way. I am doing this to lose weight but it's also a lifestyle change and not a quick fix. I am happy to talk to anyone on…
