I like your style ... "casual day" Sounds good to me +++ some gym/outdoor time :) I'm up 4 lbs since the holidays but it's ok. This is my life, not a diet, and these things are going to happen. Have to work (again) to get it off and that's just how we roll (now)! Good Luck! You CAN do it!

Would you be able to switch to hard cheese or "homemade" oatmeal with large flake oats? These only take 3 minutes to boil and you can add your own sugar or fruit. Also, I don't see many…

Sounds like you've got a lot going on! Glad to hear you're tackling the weight & health issues. Special congrats on quitting smoking! SO hard to do. I quit CT also. That was 12 years ago. You can do it! Wishing you all the best with the weight loss and obtaining a lifelong healthy lifestyle!

YES!!! I love supporting my friends and they are always there for me too! When I want to eat something sinful I think about them working hard towards their goals and them expecting the same of me. I don't want to let myself or them down. It helps because God knows I can't be trusted by myself! Cheers to the friends!…

Hi ladies! 55 years and going strong! I don't think about my age too much, except when something hurts :) I've been logging on MFP since March and LOVE it! I eat 1200-1500 cals per day, log EVERY day and exercise 2-3 times per week. Mix of weights and cardio. Of course I always aim to do more ... I've lost over 30 lbs and…

Hi, 5'8" here also. Started @ 217, presently @ 183lbs. Been on since March and it's been good. Things are slowing down a bit in the weight loss but I'm still losing (slowly) and that's ok. I'm not in a rush. I eat 1200-1400 per day and (might) eat back a few exercise calories but not all. Depends on the day. I'm also not…

You are not alone. I think those feelings are common. I like what Brad says. Let's ignore the mind and just do what we're doing. We'll get slim and then decide if we like it.
