  • Not only that, but it's actual meat and cleaner (not processed) and you get the added benefit of good nutrition!
  • I don't want to hurt your feelings and tell you your current diet is doing you no good. But I feel I have to, because you asked. You have to change what you're eating. Period. Look at my diary, look at other posters diaries, get a feel of the calories, fat, protein, fiber, and the foods associated with them. Losing weight…

  • Watch your sodium intake for a couple days and drink plenty water. Lunch meat has a ton of sodium and those crackers probably do too!!

  • I make a "Waldorf Salad Smoothie" some days, it's really quite filling 1 med apple 1c thinly sliced celery (thin is key b/c of strings) 2 T ground flax seeds (I use these in place of walnuts) 1/4 to 1/2c Fage total 0 greek yogurt 1/4 to 1/2 c 1% milk 3 ice cubes or more some water to desired consistancy I know it sounds…
  • Ole' Extreme Wellness - High fiber, low carb tortilla has 71 cal, 2g fat, 8g protein, 12g fiber Flat out wraps, almost all of these are healthy, but I use the Italian season one for both wraps and pizza's, 90 cal, 3g fat 9g protein, 9g fiber. There are many other healthy options, look in various sections of the grocery…
  • So your Quack really is a Quack! :ohwell: :indifferent:
  • Red, green, yellow bell peppers, cucumbers, carrots, toasted whole grain pita, toasted pumpernickel. I use it as a spread for sandwiches and wraps, its great on an egg sandwich! I mix it with a bit of Fage Total 0% Greek Yogurt to make it go farther sometimes and its a good marinade on Salmon and chicken that way!

  • Thank you, Charles! I was reading every post to see if I was the only one who noticed that ridiculous:noway: part of her topic! Seriously, where do people come up with this BULLSH!T? :noway:
  • Ohhellya, I can adjust this to my liking! I'm thinking ground turkey breast or bison here!!
  • I've had chronic insomnia since the age of 3 or 4, I'm 45 now. It sucks. Sleeping pills don't work for me. Some things that help me are... Citrical + D, and Melatonin at dinner. I eat dinner around 8 as it takes a couple of hours for the melatonin to start doing its thing. Ever spend a day in the sun and feel exhausted?…

  • Welcome and no luck needed, you CAN do it! Feel free to add me if you're looking for a support buddy!
  • It's FANTASTIC, I've made this myself only using a brownie recipe. Can also melt semi sweet choc chips and drizzle over the top to make prettier! Half the fun of dessert is they look so SEXY!
  • EDIT---> I will totally be turning this into a pie using my low fat chocolate whole wheat shortbread cookie recipe as a pie crust. Thank you so much for this one!
  • I wouldn't worry about the time so much either. So long as its 2 hours or more before you go to bed. I eat dinner at 8 or 8:30 all the time, and then there's no snack before bed. But if you really just want snack ideas, cottage cheese and any fruit or veg of your choice is nice, good source of protein. You could even make…
  • My personal goal for a snack is no more than 200 calories and no less than 10g protein. Couple grams of fiber or more is good also. Whole grain crackers and beef jerkey, Peanut butter on a slice of whole grain bread, Milk and Kashi go lean cereal (Horizon makes a milk in individual cartons that does not need to be…
  • I Love Dallas!
  • This year. Last year. The year before that....
  • Exactly. I don't mean to be harsh, but if you really want this, you cant ask a question like this and expect an honest experienced answer. Be accountable folks. Open those diary's. It's not just about calories. Food is fuel!!! Treat it as such. Rant over.
  • ***(hides head in shame)*** I used to be a hockey fan. Then the BlueJackets came to town.... and ruined Rick Nashs' career.
  • Sadly, that's true in most cases. When you see someone everyday, it often takes a slap in the face to notice changes like that!! What a sweet man though, for being honest about it!!
  • this. Plus that Pink Corvette is AWESOME!!
  • I think you need a better bread. I eat Pumpernickel and one slice = 40 cal 1g fat 2g protein 1g fiber. The whole slice. Remove the crust and all you get are empty calories. http://health.howstuffworks.com/wellness/food-nutrition/facts/eating-bread-crust.htm
  • Threads like this make me sad. It must be hard to not have the support from those who matter most. I cannot even imagine how I would feel if those who said they loved me went against me and my desire to become a healthier happier person. I wish you all the best.
  • Ditto. Even the dogs sit, patiently waiting at the door to go out, while I get my coffee going.
  • How lovely is that? I'm so happy for you! :flowerforyou:
  • Wow, I can make fettuccine alfredo for way less than that!! 4oz shirataki fettuccini = 40 cal 1 laughing cow light cheese wedge = 35 cal 1 TBS grated Parm cheese = 22 cal splash 1% milk = 10 cal Not doing another drum roll, but as you can see, it's 107 calories.
  • I can make a bacon, egg and cheese sand for 200 cal, why cant you? Jenny O 95% lean bacon, 2 slices = 40c 1 egg = 70 cal 1/4 c ff cheese = 50 cal 1 slice pumpernickel = 40 cal Now do the math... *drum-roll please...* A WHOLE 200 CALORIES Now that wasn't so hard, was it?
