I'm 5'2" and 29. I started last March around your weight and I weighed in at 143 this am and have been for a week. It's been very slow for me. I stopped and started 3x and this is the 2nd longest time I've stayed. it's very challenging for us shorties, just keep going is my best advice!

I've only started to feel skinny the last three weeks! I've definitely noticed my clothes fit much better and are flush against me. Especially in my waist, I'm not as wide and I've lost 2 in. LW: 143 CW: 143.2 I'm maintaining! Eating pretty crappy and not exercising and having crazy work schedules isn't an excuse, just the truth. I had ice cream and snickers within the last week but also had some really great meals and choices for entrees! Here's to next week!

This. I'm an overpronator and took it upon myself to get some PT. I'm starting next week because I'm tired of my left ankle feeling like crap all the time. Consulting with a podatrist to make orthotics for me was the best choice I've ever made! Good luck!

I was in the same situation for about 7-8 mos. I couldn't get past 150! I'm 5'2" and I say change your routine. Once I started logging in more miles with my runs the scale budged. I ate differently. As of yesterday, 144 and I have about 30 lbs left to lose!

Bump as I'm interested in strengthening the ankle - seriously thought I broke my Left ankle on my run last night, as it gave out. Just have a really bad case of a sprain/Achilles tendinitis. :/

Keep going! I too am in that party - relying on running wayyy too much. I eat sensible meals but when I get hungry for a snack, I almost always blow it on bite sized snickers or milky way. A couple NSVs happened this week. I noticed my fave yoga pants I no longer have love handles. My boss' wife wants to run a half marathon with me and I was offered a job at my work (where presentation i.e. confidence is big) The old me would have questioned everything, but new me is very accepting! Yay! Another NSV!
