Good suggestion. OP - mathematically, it shouldn't matter how and/or when you consume your calories, but StaciMarie's tweak might just be what you need.

I went to Universal a few months ago and there's a burger place there called "The Burger Digs" It's a few hundred yards outside of Hogsmeade and is a Jurassic themed restaurant. They have a garden/veggie burger that isn't too terrible, but it is kind of dry. But as the poster above stated, you will be doing a ton of…

As you can tell by the myriad of answers, everyone is different. I agree with reading the Success Stories forum, I find them VERY inspiring and have used them as crutch on many tough days. That, and staying honest with myself...I log everything that goes into my mouth, regardless of what, how much, and how many times. That…

I have waist-length hair and I do have a specific set for the gym. But I also work out in the mornings, so I need dry hair ties for work afterwards...mine are routinely soaked each day and are impossible to work with, not to mention all gross and sweaty.

About a month here, too. After about 8 - 9 weeks in, other people started noticing my weight loss. I wish more than anything that I would have taken some before pictures though. I'm a chronic camera ducker.

Hmmm. Well, I can kind of relate...my husband and I really enjoy having drinks together, but we'd gotten to the point where we had become functioning alcoholics, as well as fat. I cut the drinking to weekends only, and I fit the alcohol calories into my daily limit. Now, that can be difficult if you have a tendency to…

Eating and exercise will both have a positive effect on metabolism. You just need to perfom both consistently and wisely.

Just tell them point blank that it's none of their *kitten* business what you put into your mouth, so they can keep theirs shut. Since they have suck thick skins, this should go over well enough. Then refuse to address it ever again.

I'm 41 and personally would rather have a nice, fit body and deal with the crows feet and crepey eyes. I believe the lines add character to my face, especially the laugh lines. There's nothing wrong with going under the knife, but keep a healthy, minimal outlook on it...less really is better in most cases. I might change…

I'm kind of all over the place with my music. During a cardio session, when my playlist gets to Usher's "More" (Jimmy Joker remix), it instantly spikes me into a 2nd wind. I also like Pitbull's "International Love", and Swedish House Mafia's "Antidote". When I'm hitting the weights, I listen to heavier music. Five Finger…

Yep, they're considered sister sizes. In fact, many women find that they can go up in cup size and down in band size by simply getting a proper fitting bra. Years ago, without losing or gaining a pound, I found that I really wasn't a 38C but a 34DD.

My food diary is for my benefit and self-accountability, it's very personal to me. As others have stated, there's also a TON of judgment and nastiness on these forums, so I like to keep those people out of my business. I'm not here for anyone else but me...it's the one of the few selfish things I do and it's working, so…

Even if you find that you've forgotten to log what you ate days ago, make it a point to go back in and log it as best as you can. You have to make this a habit, and the only way to do it is to be accountable to yourself.

How important it is to log every bite I put into my mouth, no matter what. It took me jumping on and off the MFP wagon for 2 years before I knuckled down and got honest with myself.

This is so fantastic! You and your family look like you had such a wonderful time, how beautiful :)

I'm in the same boat with my Fiber One bars. I have two boxes in my desk at all times, and I have a tendency to snack on them simply because they taste good. I also have an old box of instant oatmeal in there too that I hardly ever touch, so that oatmeal suggestion above might be the key :)

I'm 41 and perimenopausal, so I get the "best" of both worlds. Although I had my uterus removed, I still have ovaries, so I get still get the PMS symptoms, as well as now getting the mini hot flashes, hormone fluctuations, jacked up skin, and my weight loss attempts require more and more patience.

I make my own low cal ranch dressing and it's pretty delicious. 1.25 cup low fat buttermilk, 3/4 cup light Helmann's mayo, and a packet of Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing mix. 470 calories for the entire 2 cups, or 60 calories per 1/4 cup.

Tried it, didn't do a thing for my appetite. However, it works wonders as a toner for your skin. Seriously. It evened out my complexion better than all those useless serums.

I don't weigh at all. I take measurements once a month, and I judge by the fit of my clothing.

If I had to narrow it down to one motivating factor for me that keeps me going, it is the fact that I finally got absolutely fed up with my self-loathing. I got to the point where I hated myself so much, that I honestly could not find one, solitary feature about myself that I did not hate. That was much more motivating…
