Sounds like carbohydrate addiction!

Happens to everyone! Log it and move on. Some people make the mistake of binging and then saying "ah well" and continuing to binge. Don't do that! Any time you fall off the wagon, get right back on -- don't wait until the next day, and don't assume this day is wasted.

Feel free to add me. I've been around for awhile in varying degrees of seriousness and commitment. Serious again :)

Contact your elected officials! On average, more than ten people die every day due to dihydrogen monoxide inhalation.
-
OP has a point, though. Why we haven't banned dihydrogen monoxide yet is a mystery. Dihydrogen monoxide: is called "hydroxyl acid", the substance is the major component of acid rain. contributes to the "greenhouse effect". may cause severe burns. is fatal if inhaled. contributes to the erosion of our natural landscape.…

Reminds me of a conversation I heard in a store. Customer: "The package says all natural?" Clerk: "Yeah?" Customer: "So why do you add sodium chloride? And what the hell is sodium bicarbonate!?!" Clerk: "Salt. And Baking Soda."
-
1) "low fat dairy". Dairy does not come out of a cow "low fat". It has to be processed to become low fat. 3) Stevia is not at all natural, it is typically processed with ethanol.

Configure the deficit in MFP, and sync Fitbit and MFP. Your steps get synced to Fitbit, then to MFP, and the excess calories get added to your calorie goal in MFP. Shoot for that number, done.

I eat bacon (or sausage) and eggs every single morning and have done so for the last year. Cholesterol is perfect, and I've lost a bunch of weight. I could totally do a Big Mac diet.

JV, I'm a professional who works in Gastown, lives out in New West. 25, into rugby, hockey, and football. Big fan of walks, you might catch me walking from the edge of Gastown through to along the water.

A good rough outline, more or less. You do have some outliers, but I think for the vast majority of folks, it is a relevant tool. People will say, "oh, by the BMI method, most body builders and athletes would be obese!" The point there however is that unless you have a really low body fat %, this will likely not happen to…

This is it. If you can't eat Subway, don't eat Subway. I love Subway now and then, but my S/O can't handle ANY carbs -- so we don't go to Subway.
-
This is especially important. If you go for a run and log it on MFP for say, 3PM - 3:30PM, MFP will ignore your Fitbit cals from that time period, since the Fitbit logs calories/steps by time.

Would it be different were she in great shape and very young?

Usually I'll just eat something else or focus on a different task. If I really crave something carby, I'll grab a piece of fruit, like a peach or something. And if that doesn't work? Sometimes you need to go for it.
-
It looks like you don't log weekends? Is there a reason why?
-
Fitbit Flex is my best friend. I got one a little while back and picked up a Fitbit Aria. This way everything syncs to my Fitbit profile, then to MFP.
-
You do need to give it more than 2 or 4 weeks, though.
-
How long have you been not losing for?
-
Daily, every morning after my shower. My Fitbit Aria syncs automatically to Fitbit and then MFP, so it keeps me honest. Plus, I've lost roughly 60 lbs, so seeing it go 64 - 62 - 63 doesn't really get me down, because 60 is huge on its own.

Nuts. I'll buy a bag of nuts and no matter how big it is, I'll eat them all. I used to buy mixed nuts for work with the idea that I'd have a small handful every day (high fibre)... I'd just eat them all in one go!
-
Same way everyone else did and the same way I plan on losing (more) of it: one day at a time.
-
I highly recommend the Fitbit... I have the Flex specifically, it runs at about $99. Very useful so far, logs pretty well everything you do, and is subtle enough you don't feel self conscious wearing it. Logs your steps, tracks your sleep... it's very handy. I do a ton of walking but never bothered to log it; I have a long…

Congrats! 130 lbs happens to be (roughly) my goal: halfway there in the same amount of time it's taken you. Amazing.

Cliff bars are cheap, but kinda gross.

Try adding cinnamon.

Varies. Could be a few days, could be longer. But since it isn't "real" weight, you don't have anything to worry about (ie, an extra kilo of water is not an extra kilo of fat). Keep on walking, drinking water, and it'll sort itself out.
-
5 miles a day of walking isn't overly much. Get a pedometer and double check; 5 miles is around 10,000 steps (depending on your stride length and so on). Figure in your basal metabolic rate, add in the extra calories from walking, and you may find that you're burning far more than you're adding, so you might be able to add…

Other commenters are right, though: a cheap scale is so inaccurate it's just a waste of money. Save up and spend a decent amount of money on one.

Totally. Here's a sample menu: Breakfast: loaf of bread Snack: honey crullers, hot chocolate Lunch: Ice cream cake Snack: Cinnamon bun Dinner: French fries covered in chocolate and sugar Dessert: Ice cream
