I found that many of MFP's calories burned numbers are low. For instance for cycling, MFP will have "Cycling 14-16 mph" and assign a number of calories burned based upon time only. If you have the luxury of a heart rate monitor, definitely the easiest route to log calories burned Otherwise while riding, take your heart rate. Assuming the same effort the entire ride, take total time ridden and that HR and enter into a Heart Rate Based calorie burned calculator.
