  • Lifting and moving 20 lb. boxes for 3 hours a day 5 days a week is definitely not sedentary. I'd set my activity level higher, like moderately active. I was thinking gee, being active actually gives me more energy....why would she be so tired? Soooooo, I peeked at your diary  you need more food. good substantial…
  • this is a good one. can't stand when i have a rant and a man says "well the solution is..................................." ugh
  • mmmmm cheat meals...........(said in a Homer Simpson voice) i usually have my cheat day on sunday. i don't go out to eat so i'll have hamburger (yummy 85/15 style) on ciabatta bread and french fries....or some chicken wings, etc i'm gonna incorporate a few tips from here (no grazing, go for a walk or some kind of lite…
  • Flat Out Flatbreads....their Italian seasoned lite breads are 90 cals, low carb, high fiber and taste good. i use them to make all kinds of wraps (egg salad, turkey, tuna, etc) edit: also makes a badass pizza that comes in at about 230 cals (1 flatbread, cheese, tomato sauce and turkey pepperoni)
  • i like: Zipfizz Monster 5 hour energy Stacker 2 xtreme (I get these at the dollar store) and, suprisingly Kroger's brand of 5 hour energy. they had them on sale 2 for $1.49, tasted good and gave me a nice boost with no crash. I haven't seen them on sale for about a year though
  • this, or some kind of basic beginner workout. cardio is cool, but weight training is going to be key in shaping your figure. don't be afraid to lift as heavy as you can....challenge yourself. you won't get bulky or turn into a man. do you have access to a personal trainer, or someone that can show you the ropes? oh and…
  • this, i never had to deal with back fat..............well anyway it's super hot out here in Houston. I was walking to my car and could feel the back fat rolls meshing together. i kept bending to one side thinking "oh well maybe it's the way i'm walking???" :noway: anyway i got disgusted then and decided to do something…
  • buy some fancy green teas with different flavorings (ginger, blueberry, etc) and have one in the afternoon. Maybe pair it with 1/2 or 1 small protein bar or a Larabar? this way you get the cake/cookie/choc fix while others are munching donuts, etc. Pure Protein bars are pretty small and come in chocolate and cookie dough…
  • Dear Mr. annoying co-worker: Please stop: clucking your false teeth in your mouth after every time you eat something clipping your nails at your desk making constant exhaling/mouth breathing noises all day....sounds like you're either watching an X rated movie or are actually participating in one, and i'm scared go to look…
  • Quickest weight loss areas for me: anything above my torso Last weight loss area for me: hips/butt/thighs I can wear a Junior Small top and still be sporting size 12 jeans that i now have to take to the cleaners to get the waist taken in 600 million inches.....ugh. wish it would all blend away evenly lol
  • I really enjoyed this post. I struggled with the 5-6 small meals per day and was always bloated, hungry and counting down the time until my next meal. I started doing IF a little over 2 months ago and it balances me out perfectly. I have a 6-7 hour eating window (used to be 8) and I break my fast after my weight training…
  • I've fluctuated back and forth depending on what i'm in the mood for. I like the full body workout because it keeps me moving with little rest time, so it's like a weight training/cardio session wrapped up into one. It was good for when I was short on time as well. I also like a 3 or 5 day split. Your basic chest/triceps,…
  • Houston Tx here........nuff said. I wish I was wherever you are!! :ohwell:
  • For me, glucomannan worked the best. it's a fiber that expands in the stomach. that, combined with mucho water was able to keep my hunger in check. Plus i liked that it's not expensive and not a stimulant. from wiki: Glucomannan is a water-soluble polysaccharide that is considered a dietary fiber. It is a hemicellulose…
  • My favorites are Lucky Brand jeans in the Easy Rider bootcut style BKE from the Buckle. I still have to get the waist taken in though but once that's done they fit perfectly, inseam and all. they sit very nicely and look great from the back Other brands are hit and miss. Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic, etc seem to be cut…
  • i got a general analog scale from walmart for about $5 and i've been using it for the past 5+ years or so. it gets the job done just fine. i do want to graduate to the $20 digital scale that you can put the empty plate on and zero out....hm maybe i can ask for that as one of my Christmas presents lol

  • mmmm this...I have my own dehydrator and make jerky all the time. it does take time but the house smells so good while it's dehydrating. plus the sodium can be regulated.
  • this, it doesn't cost anything and you are under no obligation to buy shoes. i got fitted for Asics Gel Kayano 16's a couple years ago. Loved them. Ran them into the ground literally. After those died, I went to buy more and found out they were no longer being made. So I got the Gel Kayano 18's. (hm if 16's were the shiz…
  • I agree with this post. I was a member of a box for about a year, but I have a weight training (deads, squats, cleans, etc) background dating back to '95, so I "got" what they were doing and was able to catch on pretty quickly. I paid $99 a month because it was a new box and I was one of the ones who joined within 90 days…
