Whatever shoes you decide to go with, start gradually with them. You're body is accustomed to barefoot running, so you need to give it time to adjust to the shoes.

Based on what I've read, whole grains are healthier than processed. Because of that, and because I don't notice a difference in taste or texture, I always choose whole grain pastas. This article is interesting: http://www.webmd.com/food-recipes/features/healthier-bowl-pasta

HA! A facebook status I saw recently applies (paraphrasing): I'm not saying to kill all the stupid people. Just take all the warning labels off all the products and let the problem take care of itself.

Congrats!!! Wish I could do this, too, but it doesn't come to my city

I use Greek yogurt and top it with fresh berries and granola (sometimes homemade, sometimes store-bought). I like this WAY better than the individual premixed cups. Keep the granola separate until time to eat it, or it will get soggy.

Yes, I donate--as often as I can. I have a 3 gallon pin. It's my way of helping others w/o a big time commitment, and it feels like a cleansing, of sorts, to me.

I have a basic Weight Watchers digital scale, and it works great! I got it at Costco for around $30. If you go digital, be sure to place it on a solid surface, such as tile or wood flooring, in order to get good readings.
