I have had a thing for Peter Dinklage since The Station Agent. He's just awesome no matter what he does. But my *real* weird crush would have to be Alton Brown. I have loved AB since the earliest early days of Good Eats.

I have loved AB since the earliest early days of Good Eats. Ooh, and, and, and, Alan Rickman. I have ridiculously weird crushes. A whole Pinterest board full, in…

OH MY GOD YES. My husband's great grandmother was from Ireland, and I have Irish roots on my mom's side as well. We were there in 2009 and I'm still hanging on to the fantasy of a vow renewal ceremony there at some point - most definitely with my husband in a kilt. I tried to get him to buy one at the Rennaissance Faire…

Interesting stats. I scored a 35 on the quiz... pretty much in line with my own Generation.

I agree with so much of what has already been posted. I'm 38 and the youngest of 5 kids. My parents were born slightly pre-baby boomer (they were middle aged when I was born in the 70s). My dad worked two jobs, one of which was the 2nd shift. I only saw him on the weekends, because he was at work when I woke up and at work…

If you stick it in the freezer the night before, it'll last even longer.

I think this definitely comes into play in terms of a parents' comfort level. Both my husband and I were "latch-key kids" in the 80s, meaning that we'd get off the bus alone in the afternoon and be there until our parents came home from work. I became a LKK when my sister went to college. I was in 3rd grade. Remembering my…

My husband and I will leave our daughters (7 and 9) home alone for 30 minutes when we run. We live out in the sticks, and our running route (3 miles max) circles around our neighborhood. They've been drilled and redrilled on safety (when (and when not) to call 911, which phone numbers are safe to answer on caller ID, never…

Okay, that was the BEST way to start a lousy Monday morning! Talk about adrenaline! I didn't think I could have so may lumps in my throat over 7 minutes. The "Fire and Ice and Rage" speech gets me every time, as well as Martha's speech, and River's (swaggering off to his TARDIS). The clip of Sarah Jane leaving the TARDIS…

My most annoying comments are the non comments. I've lost 19 pounds and change (not quite to 20 yet) of the 40 I want to lose. I've gone down probably a size and a half. No one in my family, no coworkers, no friends have said word one. Ultimately, I'm doing this for me, but it would be really nice to hear someone notice…

I take my dog for a walk in the morning. It's not for long, maybe 20 minutes at a very brisk pace. But you can bet your *kitten* I log it, and why shouldn't I? I burned a lot more calories doing than than laying in bed for an extra 20 minutes! How's the view from up there?

Hahaha! I remember that video! They were all beating each other up at the end. I loved those movies.

Ewww. "Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)" - C & C Music Factory. Barf! 1991 sucked.

Houdini by Foster the People. It gives me a happy and I want to keep working hard when it's on.

I did the kickstart and the first phase of BR. I just didn't like it. I want to like Jillian for her results, but her attitude just turned me off. Plus I found it was really hard on my knees, and I don't even have problems with my knees normally. I started C25K at the same times as the kickstart. I ditched BR after…

Yum. I love daal. Definitly keeping this one! I usually use Aarti's recipe from Food Network, but yours looks much quicker. Thanks! :flowerforyou: Oh - what about liquid for the lentils?

I just picked up a bag of (fresh) cut minestrone soup vegetables at Wegmans. I'm excited that the weather here in NY is going to be cooler tomorrow, because I'm ready for soup. The instructions on the bag say to sautee in a tablespoon of olive oil, then add chicken broth, rinsed canellini beans and diced tomatoes. I use no…

What the what? And who is out there logging a banana WITH the peel? I can't even have those little stringy things on my banana - talk about gross. Banana - no peel. Good grief.

How much are you willing to pay? I could use some quick cash and would be more than happy to log your foods for the right number.

Meh, I don't know about Affleck, but I really did NOT like Christian Bale and his stupid Batman voice. Keaton's my man. Time will tell I suppose.

I haven't seen a ton of Classic Who (mostly Tom Baker eps from when I was a kid). But I really enjoyed Sylvester McCoy's episode of the Doctors Revisited, so I'm going to make a point to go back and watch his tenure. Also, I'd like to watch the Paul McGann stuff so I can see what happened leading up to the Time War. We are…

Great results! I just started the Lean phase of CLX. I love this program, and am so happy to see your awesomeresults! I think I might do a second round myself. Congratulations on all that hard work paying off! You look terrific! :flowerforyou:

Beans. Why can you not find store bought beans with low sodium? You can find everything else wih low sodium, but not the beans. I've made them myself, but nothing tastes as good as Heinz. Or Bachelor even. And forget about American Baked Beans. Can't find them low sodium either. * Rant over, I just really like beans*

Lefty, month & day of birth. It's pretty much my go to username, has been for years now.

Sleeping. Getting enough sleep, even getting extra sleep. But yes. Sleeping is my favorite.

Trivia Question: In light of the recent Time Magazine cover ( http://www.time.com/time/covers/0,16641,20130819,00.html ) Why were the bees disappearing?

Speaking of missing THAT Doctor, funny story: went to our local Rennaisance Faire yesterday. My girls wore peasant dresses that had felt embroidered TARDISes (TARDI?) on them. My oldest went to the booth where you throw rotten tomatoes at the guy's face. He kept calling her "tiny TARDIS". He yelled "Hey, Tiny TARDIS! Do me…

I haven't listened to any of the audiobooks with the 11th Doctor, but we've gotten most I could find with the 10th (only if DT narrates though). They've all been great, and a terrific way for all of us to get through long drives!

You know how she tells you to point that hip out the door? The DOMS goes from the outside of my leg, through the hip and into the side of my bum. Yowza!

I'm in the 3rd week of push and will probably go up to 25 pounds on a few of the exercises on Circuit 3 this week. I started out with singular dumbbells in 8, 10 & 12 pounds. That got me through Burn just fine. For Push, I got a set of Weider adjustable dumbbells that go up to 25 pounds each. I bought them from Kohl's with…
