  • I don't know if there are any of those stores around here, I may have to look it up, and see. That's actually a really good idea! ^.^ I most likely will. (stick with it not give up I mean.)
  • Ha that is funny, I think I'm gonna save up a bit more money and buy a good one that will last a while. Although I am currently hating running outside
  • I just bought some nike air plus ones. So I don't think it's the shoes. I love running, so treadmill is a very close second, And yeah I get bored easily with running outside, because there is only the same stuff over and over again, same with treadmill, but I know I need to do it, so I turn my brain off and go elsewhere.…
  • haha that's fantastic, I must start doing that.
  • I've changed shoes, and surfaces. I just bought a new pair of shoes, and it cut it down a lot, which was nice, but I still have to worry about the children, buses, and random dogs. SO maybe a treadmill?
  • I would think if I were gonna outgrow anything it would be exercise in general. I like being lazy, but I've been running like I'm supposed to so... I would do this better especially, like I said, since my Fiance is there to keep me from lazing about.
  • I will go check those out now! I was actually just looking at a Schwinn on amazon, because I got prime free for a month and so it would come with free shipping! I don't like buying things through Craigslist because there is no guarantee, no warranty, nothing. Would rather have something I could return! Also that's what I…
  • "Don't buy an elliptical- you'll outgrow it eventually. Are you sure there's no gyms? OK, if you do buy an elliptical, buy it used off craigslist (or similar). Someone else will be selling their elliptical they don't use at a fraction of what you'll pay new." How come? I live in a really small town, The closest gym is in…
  • I do love to run! And before I started really working on it, I had bought a treadmill, and it was an expensive clothes rack. A year or so back I tried to buy a bike, but I honestly didn't like it at all. So it ended up being a clothes rack as well. I run every day now, but to not get horribly over heated I have to get up…
  • Age: 26 Height: 5'7" SW: 380 CW: 260.6 GW: 150-170 Do i have a twin?
  • I'm definitely a food addict as well. Its hard to overcome, but one thing that I've learned from the people around me, and myself is that once an addict always an addict. That doesn't mean however that you can't control it. The cravings will always be there, and you will slip up every once in a while, however that's…
  • First: Great job!! Today I"m proud that I did my run and improved my pace by 20 seconds (well not all today, was over the whole week) and my running pants are getting loose, which is nice as well :D
  • If its unsweetened tea, or water I don't log it ever. If I'm thinking about it I will log any diet drinks I drink, but half the time I forget. If it has calories it is logged.
  • yup, still can't wear short sleeves outside, nor shorts. Granted still way over weight so maybe that will change because I'm usually hot all the time. I honestly don't know if I"ll ever get over being fat minded. But I'm getting better at it because I"ll wear short sleeves inside now!
  • I got mine at the dollar store like 2 years ago its its great, Well I have to use it twice to get a correct weight because it kicks on when I'm moving and the first weight is always 2 pounds heavier than it should be.
  • Heres me showing off :P Heres a face one woo, lol 120ish down still about 80ish to go
  • I've been losing the same 7 pounds since January, sometimes plateaus last a while, ummm, don't pop laxatives, eat good calorie foods and you'll be fine. You need to see a nutritionist because of your problems like the Crohns disease and stuff, but just eat the right foods, eat your exercise calories and it will come off if…
  • I log every day! I'm positive like 98% of those days! :P
  • I can tell you one thing I was doing some arm exercises and some push ups yesterday and even though those weights I have are apparently useless my arms are sore as crap and I could barely do the 20 reps I set for myself (not of the pushups of the other curls and what not, the push ups I couldn't do more than 5 at a time…
  • at first I had a terrible time drinking water, and then I got so used to it that I really can't drink anything else except maybe unsweet tea, it grows on you! (not literally unless you are drinking contaminated water.)
  • We have the same start weight! I want to ask you so many questions! But I don't want to sound rude! (Not mean questions just possibly awkward questions) Also you look awesome :D
  • So I can run away with the Doctor. But those cup cakes look pretty good too....
  • Yeah don't do that, you will lose a lot of weight to start off with because of the sudden change in eating. Follow the in place of a road map thing someone will link.
  • I'd try it until they said it was bothering them and then maybe run twice on either the day before or day after or just skip it
  • thanks everyone for all the help, it looks like saturday I'm gonna pick up some heavier weights, and possibly some resistance bands and maybe a kettlebell too (:
  • Thank you (: I really am a total beginner with the upper body, for some reason I have a lot of leg strength (well being that I was almost 400 pounds I guess my legs had to be strong to put up with that) Now that I've lost the 120 and have another 80 or 90+ to go I want to start working on the top half as well.
  • Lol, Yeah I probably shouldn't try pull ups >.< I'd probably break the house.
  • Oh no I'm definitely not scared of getting bulky lol, I just don't have access to a gym, I bought the 5 pound weights last year when I first started exercising. I don't think I have enough money to really buy a gym set so that I can lift heavy, I would love to, I want to be strong, but I'll shop around walmart saturday and…
  • whoa thats cool looking! I will look at those at walmart too!
  • Figured I'd start somewhere, but since apparently that's pointless what would be a good weight to start with? And as you can see by my ticker I've obviously been "trying a little bit" just wanted to add more to it....Hopefully I'm just misreading but that sounds kinda rude...
