Unfortunately injuries are part of the combat game. I think it is very rare for any fighter to go into a fight at 100%.

Past: Tae Kwon Do to first degree black belt. Scored a few medals in the junior Olypmpics (total 8 years) Current: -Muay Thai: 5 years -BJJ: About 15 hours I did a bit of the BJJ at the gym I train at, but am far more inclined to do the striking. I don't know what it is but there is nothing like kicking the pads/bag.

I don't cut weight for fighting, but am amazed at some of the pro athletes that can cut water weight so easy.

This is probably my least favorite lift. I have never done a 1RM for this, but last workout was 165lbs for 3 sets of 5.

Genetics also play a huge role in the development of a visual six pack. Some win the genetic lottery, some do not.
