Yeah, I just did it yesterday and it is colored corn starch, so powdery. It washed out of all my clothes and my hair. My skin took some scrubbing. After each color station, there was a bit of a dry taste to my mouth, so water was helpful (well, and because it was 95 degrees). Have fun all!

Thanks for posting the challenge. I'm done, and likely would have stayed on the couch had I not seen this.

I'm in. Here goes ...

bump. I keep seeing these pop up on the Message Boards.

I'd also suggest malls, especially Mall of America. If you can go anytime during the week, it's not typically overly crowded. You can loop each of the three floors and get a great workout in (plus there's a lot of visual stimulation if your baby stays awake). Rosedale or Har Mar (in Roseville) are fine too, but aren't as…

How did it go for those of you who dashed this weekend? Was there anyone not dashing (walking between obstacles)? I think it looks so fun, but can't run too much due to my knees, both of which have had surgery.

Hopefully you are done by this point ... so how did it go? I'm a little interested in the one in September, but am not much of a runner, and am curious if everyone truly RUNS between obstacles or if there were some people doing fast walking. I've had knee surgery on both knees and they just don't allow me to run much. I…

I wish I had some great answers, but I can't say that I do. I have been in a similar pattern for pretty much all of my adult life. I do find that when I'm in a rut it helps to try something new. For example, last summer I took golf lessons. I think one of the challenges that would be tough for you (since we've been pals my…

Bump. The pizza bites above sound really good too!

This isn't an easy answer by any means, but since no one else answered, I'll chime in. When I coached gymnastics at a pretty high level we had a circular board (about 18 inches across), on the bottom was a half sphere. So kids could put their foot right in the middle of the board and then rotate the ankle around in…

Weird. I successfully registered myself and a friend a couple hours apart. I hope they get it up and running for you soon!

I'd also vote YES, assuming you can afford to buy it. I have Just Dance 2 and 3 as well as Wii Fit and some others, and I still love my Zumba 2! It's just a little different than the others. It's so nice to be able to wear the remote on the little belt, and I think works muscles in a different way than Just Dance. I like…

I found these on an endcap at Target near the baking aisle. I bought Caramel and Chocolate Marshmallow. I tried the Chocolate Marshmallow in Yoplait Vanilla yogurt this morning and it wasn't really all that good. The fun flavored Light Yoplait is better. Maybe I will try the caramel in a smoothie or cream cheese. I like…

I've been to one, although I didn't attend the aerobics class because the time doesn't work for me. Just jumping for 30 minutes with a friend was significantly more challenging than it was 15 years ago! (I'm 37.) It was a serious burn. I think I would need to go a few more times before attending the class, because I think…

Do any of the people WALK it? I'd like to try one, but running a 5K is challenging for me, much less with obstacles. I'd feel odd if I was the only one walking though.

Thanks for sharing! It looks fun and is for a great cause.

I like some of the ones that Athleta makes. They are somewhat snug (so as to not show the undies!), but aren't as snug as bike shorts. I've had a lot of luck picking shorts that are made for yoga, even though I wear them for other things - they tend to have flexibility without revealing too much since they are made for all…

AWESOME story. I love all the details and how you wove pictures all the way through. For me, it's fun to know all the side stories that add to your journey instead of just before and after pics (those are good too though). Congrats to you. I'm glad you've found an activity that you love so much!

If it were me, I would count them. They aren't going to add up to a ton of calories, but they still matter and are a great step toward a healthier lifestyle! If you were already doing them prior to joining MFP, maybe try doing one more a day or something like that just to up it a bit from your previous habits.

Oh my gosh, you look fabulous! Congratulations, and I hope you are enjoying your new look!

* Last summer I bought a cute "cruiser"-style bike, which was much more comfortable than my old bike (which I never rode because it was so uncomfortable!) I like cruising around trails on that, and it really feels FUN. * Going for walks in favorite parks, along water, etc. * Playing Wii * Going for short walks over…

I just got it yesterday but haven't tried it yet due to a bad ankle. But if you do a search in this forum, there are TONS of good comments about it, particularly Zumba 2. That's actually why I got it - because so many people had great things to say about it.

I can't add your quote after the fact, but in response to, "thanks!!! ill try those!! at the moment im just doing WII sports.." ... Definitely! If budget isn't too much of a concern, and you think you will be able to commit to using them for long enough to get your money's worth, I'd get all of them! Of course it depends…

I like it, but have found myself using other Wii games more for exercise. It depends what you want. I think the Wii Fit balance games are fun and the cardio can be pretty entertaining, but if you are just looking for cardio I think something like Wii Just Dance 3 or Wii Active Life Outdoor Challenge are better (and you…

I don't have a great answer for you, but stumbled upon this thread a week or so ago when I was trying to figure out how to calculate calories for Just Dance 3. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/409573-just-dance-3-sweat-points?hl=Just+Dance+3#posts-7156840 (If the link doesn't work, search "Just Dance 3, Sweat…

I also have those days when I take too much stock in someone else's reaction. Perhaps she was surprised that it is "just" 17 pounds because you look so much healthier that she just thought it was more. Or maybe you caught her on an off-day. Or maybe she's jealous. No matter what, you're not doing this all for her, right?…

Has anyone found (or calculated) calorie information for The Good Earth? I'm going there tonight, and would like info on various choices before I go, but I couldn't find anything on their website. I know I could make a decent choice, but the dressings and stuff always sneak up on me. Thanks.
