Thx guys for all of the advice. There's lots to take in but one thing I can do pretty easily is drop my calories. I'm thinking of going to 1800, which I used to maintain 8 weeks or so ago. Regarding reducing sugar, is there a gram amount I should aim for, or not exceed? I'm at around 50-75g/day now, most of which is via…

A little bit. I'm probably doing 2 upper, 3 core and 1 leg sessions in rotation of 6 sessions. Obviously core involves legs too but I'm not doing many dedicated leg sessions. That said, my session yesterday was legs, with nice squats and lunges. My legs ache today. :)

Funky hair.

At the moment, he's upping the amount of core work we are doing, and doing core/ab sessions more frequently than we were doing 1-2 months ago - as well as working harder/stronger. (I've only been doing PT sessions for 2 months now - I assume that's not very long in the grand scheme of things). I've not discussed with him…

Nothing too Death-Metal-like for me. Some good old fashioned Linkin Park or BFMV is good. Something with a beat! :)

No idea... but Slipknot have been announced as the third headliner! Happy days!

Indeed, it's very "sweetener" like. I had a teeny tiny but with my cereals this morning and it was OK.

My wife's getting me some from the shops this very moment. :D

Not quite the same but my pre-workout tune for today is "Drowning Pool - Bodies": http://youtu.be/04F4xlWSFh0

I love my Fitbit. I left it at home yesterday and had to go the whole day without it. I felt sad.

I thought I would update you. I had a session with him yesterday evening and actually he seemed to be more focused, which is obviously good. I'm sure it's still a difficult time for him though. That said, we did discuss about having further PT sessions and discussed paying on an as-used basis or buying "x" sessions up…

Thanks for the input so far. I'll definitely check some of these out.

Dang it! And there was me hoping to get a nice and simple answer. But I do appreciate all the feedback. I guess there's no right or wrong answer.

I have to admit I've used SlimGum for 6 months now. I have lost weight during this time but I'm also exercising and having a better diet, so I guess I don't really know if it helped actively. Nonetheless, my mind is thinking it helps so if that positive mental thought is helping me, it's worth it IMO. I will add I think…

I have a Polar PT4 and love it. Basic but it works.

Excellent! I'm so pleased for you. I don't really have a story to share but I did manage to go from a 36" to 32" waist from around Apr12 to Jul12and since then have been maintaining it, so I'm pretty pleased too.

UK rocks!

Why not? What's the worst that could happen?! :)

I'll let you judge whether I'm anywhere close...or not.

Depends who's paying for dinner. :)

Anyone try them? I'm making a batch tonight. I'll share photos. :)

I have 25g of either brazil nuts or almonds a day, sometimes also with 25g of pumpkin seeds.

So, did any of you try them out yesterday? My blog post here: http://bit.ly/Ovtcvw got a fair view visitors but I'd love to hear more comments via the blog on this simple, but tasty recipe.

@superflyrbi: Thanks. The feedback I'm getting so far is positive. If you like them, please vote with a + via the blog entry. :)
