This is me. I am at a healthy weight now, and would be fine stopping, except that I want to continue to lose fat in my thighs so I feel as comfortable as possible in shorts and going for walks - especially with how hot it gets here! I am a classic pear shape and as soon as I lose enough to make my thighs happy, I will be…

When I was a BMI=overweight (between 150-180) I could lose 1-1.5 pounds a week relatively easily. Between 140-150 (BMI=healthy) it got a bit slower but I could still lose a pound a week. Now less than 140 pounds, and as I am trying to get into the 120's, I am losing less than a pound a week and normal body fluctuations…

Yes! I am 5'5" and I originally had 60 pounds to lose (181-120 pounds). Once I hit between 145-150 pounds I would almost always slowly creep back towards 165-170 pounds. It was really rough, and this happened about 3/4 different times (mostly through college, and it is hard to lose weight there anyway). I finally broke…

I agree - weigh your food. I understand it is tricky with roommates, but if you want to know if you are consuming too much you have to weigh. Plus it will also be important so that you don't UNDER eat. For a while I was giving myself smaller portions than what I should have been eating because I wasn't weighing.
-
I'm 5'5", and my profile picture has a shot of me at 139 and 132 (sorry it isn't 10 pounds :/ ). Once you are in your healthy BMI range 10 pounds really does make a difference I think.

I started at 181 and I'm down to 131 (with about 11 pounds left until goal). I have a -really- hard time visualizing myself properly, which is one of the reasons why I thought I was fine as overweight for so long. Clothes are the BIG thing that help me realize where I am at - I went from a size ~14 to a dress size 4 and…

I end getting a 4% fat vanilla greek yogurt and it is the BEST greek yogurt I have ever had. I find it filling, delicious, and I usually add it to fruit or my oatmeal. It is higher in calories but I usually don't eat a lot of it at once.

I'm in the same boat, although I'm not putting a time limit on it because I don't want to be disappointed. I'm at 131 and would love to be around 120 (starting weight = 181). So I am just going to keep doing what I did to lose 50 pounds in the first place - logging my calories and staying at a deficit. It WILL be slow, and…

They recommend you buy your dress at least 8 months before the wedding. I would imagine it take a long time to make and get it to you. I ended up getting my dress off the floor (I was very lucky!) so I was able to take it home with me that day.

Congrats! I am getting married on 7/11 and it's starting to finally feel real! I ended up losing quite a bit of weight, although it wasn't all for the wedding (but it sure helps). My seamstress has been really supportive. I got a dress that doesn't require many alterations in general, but she is letting me come in a week…

Unless I had medical reasons for staying away from coffee, I would not give it up, because I enjoy it (I drink it black). I would probably be miserable for the first week and then be fine though.
-
The biggest thing for me was to stay on track. I can be an all-or-nothing type of person with my eating and exercise, so if I stop logging then it will be a while until I come back, and I would come back having gained weight. I tended to stop logging during stressful times or during big life changes. This time around the…

Hi! I'm Sio, I am currently a second year medical student. I yo-yoed a bit in college and for two years after, but I FINALLY figured things out (never 100% perfect though of course) and I only have about 7-12 more pounds to go! Big Day: 7/11 of this year (so very soon lol) SW: 181 (height 5'5") CW: 132 GW: 120 Wedding…

I am/was a huge grazer if I'm not careful, and this was probably one of the major contributing factors to why I put on weight. I would stress eat and eat if I was bored. A few strategies I have are: 1) Go for a walk! I walk a lot more now, and it takes me about an hour to go 3 miles. So it lets me kill some time, exercise,…
-
I do, but only because I have my activity level set to sedentary. I have a similar walk to you, and I go on another 3 mile walk later in the afternoon/evening, so I just combine it.

A lot of people hate on meal replacements. I personally use them when I need them (for time, or they also help me digestively be happy lol) and it is usually only 3-5 meals a week at most. I use the VegaOne chocolate powder *blended* with banana and almond milk (I need the banana otherwise the taste isn't as great, but…

A lot of times people won't comment because they think they a) shouldn't b) don't know what to say. I've had people tell me that I just in general "look really good" or "something looks different". If they are closer friends I will talk about my weight loss, otherwise I just say my hair is finally starting to grow out lol.…

I would join! I am getting married in less than a month lol, but I've been working really hard since November to get in the best shape I can be! Plus I am going to try my best to keep losing after the wedding. Hopefully we will do our honeymoon next March, so I will be working towards that too!

I, a white wine kind of lady, have started drinking red (which now I love too) because I tend to sip it rather than drink it quickly. Usually there are only about 100-120 calories per glass too.

I'm 5'5" starting at 181 pounds and now I am down 49 pounds to 132 :) I would love to lose another 12 pounds to reach 120. You can see a B&A in my profile pic.

I'm 25 and I'm down 50 of the 60 pounds I need to lose. Feel free to add!

I love VegaOne chocolate powder (mixed with almond milk and a banana (and it -has- to be blended with a blender, otherwise it doesn't mix well). I like the way it tastes prepared that way, and I don't use it because I'm a vegan or vegetarian. It has all three macros, vitamins, and minerals. I'm a medical student and I know…

Feel free to add me! I'm a 24 year old medical student and I am getting married this July. I have lost 49 pounds total (ultimate goal of 60 pounds total). I went from 181 to 132. I did not lose ALL the weight for the wedding, I started losing weight before I got engaged. And congratulations on your engagement! The…

My size has gone wickity-whack, but it hasn't been a bad thing (at least to me)! I was a 36/34 C for the longest time, and now I am a 32D. I'm so glad I went in to get measured because never in a million years would I have guessed the new size. Edit: I should mention I've gone from 181 to 132 pounds with a loss of 49…

I'm 5'5", and although I started at 181, I was 150 for the longest time, and unfortunately put on the 30 rather quickly. Whenever I tried to lose weight I would get stuck at 150 again. Now I am 132 pounds (49 pounds lost total) and trying to reach 120 :)
-
My BMI healthy weight range is 111-150, and my BMI is currently 22 at 132 pounds. I think I would like to get to 120 (BMI=20). I initially thought when I started losing weight I would be done at 130, but I see that there is a bit more to lose, and my body frame is a lot smaller than I thought it was.
-
I have zero knowledge about how this will affect you one way or the other. BUT I use VegaOne which is a vegan-based protein/nutrition powder using pea protein (I'm also not a vegan or vegetarian). I get the chocolate one, mix it with a banana and almond milk, and I think it tastes amazing! It isn't strictly a protein…

After bad weekend (and a month of more or less maintaining but eating a larger volume and salt content than when I was losing), I had about 7 pounds of water weight that took about a week for me to lose, and I probably lost a pound during that week of actual weight. Don't worry too much if it was a bad day. If it was a bad…
