Just did D2 of L2 - and I switched to 1.5 pound weights for the last circuit for strength. I think it's better to keep form with the smaller weights than fall over using my 5 pound ones! But it's getting there - I still sweat buckets haha. Keep going guys! I'm really starting to notice a difference in my stomach. I've…

I log it as circuit training. I don't have a HRM to check, but it seems about right (MFP says I burn about 192). I think most people log it like this too.

Hi! I finished all ten days of Level 1 and I did the first day of Level 2 today. Level 1 kicked my butt for the first four days. My muscles were SOOO sore. I was able to do all of the Natalie moves (except for pushups, but I tried to do at least 8 consecutive ones before switching to the easier ones). Level 2 was harder…

I like Teddie all Natural and Organic (I choose salted, but there are unsalted versions). I LOVE my peanut butter and no one can take it away from me haha. But I did realize that if I am going to continue to eat it, I really need to switch to the natural kind to reduce sugar intake.

Haha it was really hard! I was sweating buckets. I'm fortunately not as sore as when I first started the shred, but those planks kill just because my upper body thinks I'm an idiot for letting Jillian talk me into these things. I did most of Natalie on L1 (although I could only do 8 push ups and then switched to Anita push…

I usually eat hard boiled egg whites (15 calories per egg).

I've lost 3 pounds so far (I'm on day 11 and I just started L2 today). However, I am working at a barn for the summer so I burn loads of cals just being there. However, the 30DS broke me out of my plateau, so I'm pumped!

This is always such an interesting topic! I'm a biology major, and this past semester I took a class called "Plant biotechnology and genetic engineering." It was really cool, and we talked about the process of making something a GMP (taking a particular gene(s) and inserting it into a single cell that can result in an…

Just finished D10 L1!!! So proud of myself, didn't skip any days (I didn't have any injuries). I can't wait to try L2 tomorrow morning, although I am a little nervous. What does everyone think of Level 2 who have done it/are in it.

I THINK mine would be the "Rubber Ducky" song in German. I don't know German haha. Other honorable mentions: Snoopy vs. the Red Baron Snoopy's Christmas I'm Henry the VIII I am The entire "Legally Blonde the Musical" soundtrack Sprite The Nations of the World by the Animaniacs - yeah, it's memorized. This one might…

Did D9 L1 today - so I just have one day left at level 1! I am so proud of myself. This has been such a life saver too because when I am at school, I get to go to the gym for "free." But at home this summer I didn't want to pay for it. I started running but it has been SO hot and I don't want to get up at 5:00 to go…

That website is great - thanks!

When I make the juice their is loads of pulp (fiber!) left over. I'm just wondering if anyone knows for sure, or if there is a certain percentage lost, or if it depends on the vegetable/fruit, etc.

Just finished D8 L1 today - I didn't have as much energy as I usually do, but I got through it all right. I can't wait to start L2, just to keep things interesting!

Pizza and peanut butter. Pizza I eat only on occasion, but I try hard not to go out of my way to get it. Peanut butter on the other hand...... I will have it everyday, for the rest of my life... most likely haha! Although I have switched to all natural, organic peanut butter. I do need the salted version though, but I…

Just finished D6 of L1 today - I'm finally starting to feel less sore - hoorah! Also, I think my endurance for the weights is getting better, especially on the squat thrusts.
-
D5 L1 done today! I'm finally starting to feel less sore during the day, although I haven't noticed real differences in my ability to do the movements. Cardio isn't my problem, it's the arm weights! The squat thrusts and anterior raises still are kickers... although I started out right away with 5 lb weights so maybe it…

I've recently discovered that I am an anxious eater - although it usually correlates with school or work. I always need to have a plan, and if I have one, great! If I don't... I'm anxious... and I eat.

Hey! I've been looking for a thread to start with - I did D4 L1 today so it's pretty close!
-
Just did D4 L1 this morning - I was a little less sore today than in the past three days, so that makes me happy! The anterior raises still really get to me... and I always have trouble not straining my neck during the ab moves - does anyone have any tips to minimize that?
-
Thanks everyone! It's good to know that it does go away, and to be prepared for when it comes back when moving up levels! So far I'm lucky in that I don't have any actual pain, I'm just sore lol. I had to get up and ride two horses this morning and I thought I wasn't going to be able to get on let alone actually ride!
-
I just started yesterday, and I already did day 2 today! It definitely pushes me - the cardio and legs aren't too bad (except the lunges), but my arms have always been a pit pathetic so all of those movements are super hard! I am really excited to see results though, I'm going to try to complete it straight - so no days…
-
Woah man, today was day 2 for me on L1... and I am wiped haha! I have to go ride two horses later today and I hope I can get myself on let alone ride! I'm really excited to have started though, I am a college student and I am home for the summer working only half days, so I have no excuse not to be able to fit it in!…

Great post! Even when I don't see progress on the scale I don't get that upset because I still feel healthier! I've definitely screwed up before, but as long as I end up back here I'm okay!
-
Woooah man Jazz apples are my FAVORITE! They are everything I could ever hope to ask in an apple.
-
Awesome! Do you know how many calories are in them generally?

I work out in the morning, but I have to wait at least an hour before I head out running. When I wake up I feel groggy and stiff, once I'm up and about, and I have eaten, I feel loads better.
-
I like to work out an hour after breakfast in the mornings (around 7 or 8), at least for the summer. I also work in the afternoons so I can't work out then. I am from New England so when fall starts and I am back at school I will change to midday or evenings. It's mostly about when it fits in! I do prefer mornings though,…

My go-to breakfast is always a whole wheat english muffin with a tps of peanut butter with banana slices on top with a clementine or grapefruit! And coffeeeee.

Hello! You definitely don't have to do cardio EVERY day - especially if your body is telling you that it hurts. I know that my mom hates taking rest days because she fears she will stop all together. I run four days a week, and I let my body tell me if it is tired from the previous day (I try not to take two days off in a…
