Glad you found a platform to rant...it always feels good to get it off your chest. Perhaps smaller changes? One new vegetable a week? Greasy food once a week only? Just a suggestion...:smile:

I tried 1200 a day and it didn't really work..I was always thinking about food and never full! and went over many times which was disheartening. So, go up a bit more, even if it's 150 a day, go for a 20 min walk, go to be early, eat more protein that really helps. I've eaten more (light) peanut butter in the last 6 months…

I agree it's frustrating that the weight just doesn't go down down down down... This morning I weighed 162 and 2 hr later (after breakfast) I weighed 159 (the # I've been for a while now..) weird... also, water retention sucks.... AND perhaps after so much exercise you are gaining muscle which weighs more?

I put half a can of tuna with 2 Tablespoons of plain Greek yogurt on a bunch of lettuce... sometimes I add a cracker or two for extra crunch... There's flavoured tunas too, have you tried them? I like the spicy Thai one..there's small and so you can eat the whole can.

I eat Greek yogurt almost every day...instead of mayo in a tuna sandwich, in smoothies to up the protein and make them creamier, in tacos instead of sour cream, on a baked potato instead of sour cream.... also plain with vanilla (instead of sugar) vanilla - the real stuff - tastes great and there are 0 calories!

A good rule of thumb is that half your plate should be vegetables... and remember to be able to see your plate - so not to stuff it so much (like a typical Thanksgiving plate) that you can't see the colour of the plate...also cut barbs and perhaps even protein to half of what a typical portion is... .this is what I do...…

I know it might be hard...but if it took you months to lose those 30 lbs then those 30 lbs are GONE forever! Good job... and it's great that you posted with the same clothes..I love that - easy to see the differences...big differences...have you tried carrying 30 lbs of dog food or flour or whatever around the grocery…
