I'll let my doctor know that the information he give me was wrong ( 1800 calories a day ) and I'll sent an email of to MFP telling them that their site is flawed and they are setting my calories to low (1710 calories day ) Thank you for letting me know. You have left me speechless. Billy

When I was talking about white foods it was tongue in cheek ( white bread, white rice, pasta and potatoes). I was trying to be witty to start a conversation but by the looks of it I've failed miserable . LOL

Have you looked at the pictures of me on my profile and 1700 calories is the amount set by MFP. Do you know any thing about losing weight because your talking out your *kitten*.

As someone who's 6'1 and well built 2oz of pasta isn't going to cut it. I'll stick to my cabbage and swede.

!00g of uncooked pasta is roughly 350 calorie and 3 slices of toast is almost 400 and that doesn't include the butter. Because I wanted to up my protein and eat more veg and to stay under my calorie allowance of 1700 which is hard to do if bread and pasta are using up 700 of that. Since I started cutting out bread and pasta my chocolate consumption has dropped to almost zero. Its wasn't my plan it just happened.

You MUST count your fruit and veg. Most days I have 300 calories from veg and if I have a banana and 2 apples that's another 200. If you are reaching you calorie limit everyday and not adding your fruit and veg your not going to lose any weight.

At the moment I'm going to keep to my diet but I know I can't stay away from devils little helpers from forever. Then it will be the brown stuff. I don't know if it's the removal of the white stuff or the increase in protein that's controlling my sugar carving

I'm Irish and the thought of giving up Potatoes is a bit like giving up breathing but it's been pretty easy. Pasta has been harder because having the sauce with veg just isn't the same.

I find weight-watchers meals and all diet ready-meals are so small I have to cook a lot of vegs to go with them. So If I have to cook a load of veg I might as well make something fresh to go with my peas and carrots .

Swedes in England and called Turnips in Scotland. I have seen turnips in the supermarkets in London. They look like a swede but much smaller.

I might go out tomorrow and get a hot air popcorn maker. We don't really need another gadgets in the kitchen but can't say no to low calories snacking.
