Mary Roach discusses this a bit in her new book, GULP. People DO get "poop transfusions" to correct bowel issues. Although I have not heard of it being done for weight loss, or by eating it. Heck, if I have "chubby" gut flora, I'd certainly like to know it and would have a poop transfusion if it would help me manage weight…

I am also towards the middle of my BMI and my mom says I don't need to lose any more weight! Yeah, well I was just doing Jillian Michael in my underwear in my hotel room and that big mirror and the stuff I see bouncing up and down doesn't lie! Can easily shave off another 10-15 without getting too thin.

You will probably find out that eating stuff like 'Special K" is low calorie, but also not that filling or nutritious. Then, when you start logging more fresh fruits and veggies, that your nutritional bases are covered, you feel fuller longer and happier from eating healthy foods, AND you have a lot more calories to play…

Vegan here! I see the value in eating some things raw, but cooking others like carrots actually helps make the nutrients more accessible to our bodies. :-)

Do whatever you can honestly handle. Your OB doesn't know that answer. I was active throughout my first pregnancy and even completed a Les Mills Body Pump (weight training) class the day before I went into labor. In fact, I think the lunge track that night helped kick things off. :-) PS. I am almost 7 weeks pregnant again,…

None! I am free from the bondage of ICE CREAM and I use to eat it every day. Now I make easy fruit sorbets in my Vitamix blender. 2 bananas, 1/2 cup raspberries, splash of almond milk. Incredibly delicious.

Still, look what "body" the ad puts in the middle.

If you have a baby, maybe! That's the only way I know how a woman can lose 15-20 pounds in 2 weeks.

I though chickens had nuggets, not nipples. hmm.

The the shaping into "meat shape" really is all about the bun! And for crying out loud, what is a "real" chicken nugget supposed to resemble? ? :-p
-
There are faux meat products because many vegetarians still "like" things like burgers/hot dogs but don't like the consequences eating meat has on their health, the environment, or the animals used to make meat products. I don't see the problem in shaping a veggie patty like a hamburger patty--that's just practical for…

I look at your "before" and "now" pictures and am in AWE. KEEP IT UP! Also, nice reminder from the great book "Skinny B!tch" that there is nothing uglier than a skinny woman who is mean. That's exactly what those gym rats were.

Count them, because it is also fun to see how things like greens can have a lot of protein (per calorie, more than steak!)
-
My stretchmarks after my son were anything but pretty. But I do think eating a lot of dark leafy greens does wonders for skin tone and has helped them dramatically "disappear." Yes, you can wear a bikini. Tiny waist like that, heck yes!

Thank you for making me more clear! :-)

Many of the largest animals on earth--and leanest--are vegans. They do not need protein shakes, pounds of chicken, or tubs of yogurt to maintain their powerful, lean, and, compared to humans, enormous size (horses, giraffes, moose, elk, elephants!)...Protein is in everything, especially the leafy greens and vegetables…

zucchini tacos! Quarter 'em and stir fry with onion, tomatoes, peppers--and add a cubed mango at the end and some lime and fresh cilantro. Serve on warm soft taco tortillas. Fast fresh summer taco night! Yummm!

I'm teaching my 21 month son how to do push ups. He has so much energy anyway. Plus, he thinks they are funny. Firm believer there is no age limit to enjoying exercise.

Yes, they are chemicals and yes they are hampering/harming your weight loss. Diet drinks,/Crystal Light, are total CRAP. Drink water naturally sweetened with fruit, if you must have something other than plain water.

How long ago did you have your son? After my son was born, it took a good year of eating healthy and exercising when I had the time (okay, I had usually had daily beer "to cope" and ate whenever hungry as I breastfed him for 19 months). The weight came off but the lower ab pooch remained. Being a new mom is a lot of…

You can always buy KAL brand nutritional yeast online...although I couldn't tell ya who has the best price.

Goggle Skinny B!tch in the Kitch Mac N Cheese if you want a great "yellow/American cheese" sauce. It is the best. It uses some store bought cheeses but you also use a ton of squash in the sauce. But it is also great and would be really good in your mexican tacos/scrambles. You can make and freeze in smaller batches.

Almond "Cheese"--semi related, homemade. This makes a savory cream-cheese-y like spread. Great on sandwiches, pizza, in pasta, lasagnas... Soak 2 cups almonds overnight. Using a high power blender (Vitamix) blend almonds with 1 cup water, 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice, a clove or 2 of garlic, teaspoon of salt + to taste. Blend…

I vote for the one-piece. Cut and color are flattering.

Did you poop in proportion to your eating in Vegas? Are you back on track now? Hope so! Poops don't lie!

Also thought Houston was one of the fattest cities in the US...that could also have something to do with it. Bad starting point for participants? Hmm.

KAL nutritional yeast powder has roughly 6/8 grams per tablespoon. Easy add-in it as a seasoning to salads, kale chips, soups, pasta. Make homemade "Larabars." 1/4 cup raisins, 1/4 cup nuts or seeds, 1/4 cup oatmeal + enough to make them "bars" and pinch of salt, cinnamon, and/or vanilla extract. Try homemade bean burgers.…
