  • I use Smart Balance.
  • Well- you got MY attention. And thank you very much for the words of advice:) It does make a lot of sense...the simpler, the better in my opinion:O)
  • I measure out a tablespoon or two of hershey's special dark chocolate chips and nibble on them during the day. Sometimes, I mix almonds or walnuts with them. It seems to fill me up and satisfy my craving.
  • Sounds yummy, but did I miss the cheese in the ingredient list? I'l check again. Thanks for sharing!
  • I buy the Chobani plain ff and also the flavored then mix half a flavored container with equal amont of plain so its not so sweet. I also love the plain with peanut burre and a toch of honey or agave nectar.
  • One of my favorites, Nan:)
  • My DH has a Harley-Electra Glide touring bike...big, heavy bike. I don't drive it, but I know he gets a workout, especially with a rider. Just keeping it upright takes a lot of core muscle strength. Yes it's easy to drive he says, but you do get a core workout if nothing else while driving. I wouldn't count riding as a…
  • Thanks for the info and the link Warren. I've been decreasing my sodium intake and have been eating more fruits and veggies. I'll have to track it and see if I'm actually getting the daily required intake of potassium. I'm interested to see if it makes a difference in my BP. Interesting link. Thanks again:)
  • You're not scarey at all! You are doing GREAT!!! Keep up the good work:)
  • OK----this is REALLY scarey---look at our weight trackers!!!!!! Anyway, I'm 55 (in Aug), married 36+ yrs., 3 grown kids, one son-in-law, a perfect little grandson who's almost 2 and he's going to be a big brother in Dec. Sort of retired-I take care of him everyday-his Mom's a teacher. He keeps me very busy, and I'm trying…
  • WOW!!! What an inspiring story. You have so much to be proud of and thankful for....most of all, your good health. Thanks for sharing such a great story! You look absolutely beautiful:)
  • 30 Cookies...I checked out the site. Sounds just like the recipe for chocolate peanut butter no bakes except no butter or sugar and applesauce instead. Can't wait to try this!!
  • In 2007, the day after my 50th birthday, I had a breast reduction. So glad I did. I would never want to be that size again. Losing weight and gaining so many years really took it's toll and I had 3 kids. So I did it for pain relief because it hurt so much to exercise. One of the best decisions I ever made. Went from a 42…
  • For what it's worth, I'm 55 yrs old and struggled for years with this. Finally, in '07 I had reduction surgery because after years of yo-yoing up and down and hurting myself trying to exercise and get healthy, I decided enough was enough. Each time I lost weight, I would only lose maybe an inch or two from my band size-not…
  • THAT is great news!!! Congratulations and keep up the hard work. You have to be so proud of yourself:)
  • I hope you're doing better. I agree with everyone else suggesting MRI's etc. When I first dislocated my shoulder 15 yrs . ago, I had tons of xrays, but no mri's. Did PT and everything I was told. And of course they gave me scripts for muscle relaxants and pain killers. I used them I think for about 5 days and said no more.…
  • It works for me. I usually don't do a "day" of it, just a meal and maybe a snack. Something that's really a treat-an ice cream (baby cone) or piece of candy. But I do track it. Keeps me on the right path. Good luck!
  • HA Catrina!!! You hit the nail on the head!!! Couldn't figure out why old people complained so much either and NOW I know. Keep your chin up and take it one day at a time. I know it's hard to be patient when all we want to do is get back in shape. It's annoying me that I can't do my usual Zumba video today, so I've got my…
  • Don't know about the physio, but I see a chiro regularly for 15 yrs. since a shoulder dislocation from a fall on ice. Been the P/T route 4 times and it works pretty good while I'm going, but ins. especially comp-only will pay for so many visits. My chiro keeps me so it's doable. If I was still going to the orthopedic and…
