Enjoy yourself. Life is short. With all the exercise two days off your eating plan will hardly make difference. Then wait a few days before weighing to give everything to....ahem...digest properly and water levels to return to your normal at the previous weigh in.

..I'm sitting at a college football game on a crisp autumn day ...I'm completely in a moment and can take a step back and appreciate it. ...I realize somewhere there is someone struggling with a tremendous burden, difficulty, or loss and appreciate how fortunate I am.

Example: I have the legal right to swing my arms wildly. That right ends at your nose. You have the right to practice your religious beliefs however you want up until the point it interferes with someone else's legal rights or protections: those protections that apply to all citizens, not strictly Christian citizens.

Does anyone consider that different strategies work for different people, and that there isn't one all or nothing absolute method to reach objectives? I doubt anyone on either side of the fence is going to argue that calories out have to exceed calories in for weight loss. Of course not everyone's objectives are purely to…

"The National Cattlemen's Beef Association, which says it supports all forms of beef production, echoes this much-ado-about-not-much theme. Shalene McNeill, who has a Ph.D. in human nutrition and is executive director for human nutrition research at the association, acknowledges that "if you feed (cows) grass, you can…

I agree with you.. I'd be a terrible vegan and there's only so much poultry and fish I could take.

I look at things over a longer period of time than daily. Am I at my calorie goal for the week is a more relevant question than for a particular 24 hour period. The only short term consideration is that I make sure I eat enough prior to work outs.

For the record I don't disagree with you, but seriously, is there an organized clandestine group on this message board with a determined mission to start a "you can eat whatever you want debate" in every thread? Again - I don't disagree....not trying to start a **** storm...just getting annoyed at the same conversation in…

I carry a cooler with me to work. I keep a few snacks in it, a protein shake, and my lunch. I usually cook extra when I'm making dinner and have leftovers for lunch the next few days. When I used to work out at lunch time, I used to heat up my lunch and eat it quickly at my desk before I left. I take the cooler with me if…

I just eat essentially the same thing every day with a little variation. It makes life so easy. Agree 100% with the plan ahead concept.
-
uh yeah..I get that...the point was how every thread on this board has to turn into some variation of the same tired argument. In your rush to look brilliant and witty, you jumped to the wrong conclusion. The chemical argument is always a good one though....there are chemicals in anti-freeze too....why don't you drink a…

Carbs fuel hard training.

40 oz of regular coke is over 450 calories. That would be a significant part of most peoples daily calorie target allocated to a food with few (if any) nutrients. If you could hit your calorie target for your personal goals, and get adequate nutrients with an acceptable protein/fat/carb blend then personal preference…
