Selee should not ignore this thread. She does need to find someone who accepts her for her. If you read the thread all the way through, you would see that it isn't just her weight he is unaccepting of. He is also unaccepting of her asymmetrical chest (which nearly every woman has), and most importantly, he is unaccepting…

If you feel full when you eat the same foods, but in solid form, maybe the problem is that by making it into a smoothie, your are doing some of the work for your body. It doesn't take as long to digest because you have already broken it down somewhat. Just my guess.

I have raspberry butter at home, I wonder how that would taste. I may have to try it tonight.

I will be making this sometime this week! Thanks for posting. @Chopsart, I assume flaming it is similar or the same as roasting it? Either way, I think that would enhance the flavor of the shrimp cake! Great suggestion!

By that logic, I didn't exercise or eat at a calorie deficit to get fat, so why would I do it to get thin  Sorry, I 'm feeling contrary this morning. Good list

I think it depends on how much a person has to lose. I have 119 pounds to lose, but I only set up MFP to lose 1.5/week. I could easily lose 2/week at this point, but wanted to be able to eat a little more everyday, so I don't end up binging. That being said, I don't feel as hungry some days. So if I am 250 calories under,…

The number MFP gives is based on weight. If I put in 40 minutes for 4.5mph, very very brisk pace, I get 501 calories burned. That's not to say that I don't agree that 700 calories burned is a lot for a 40 minute walk, because I do think that seems high.

I love Sports Night too! I have seen every episode at least 5 times, so its no wonder I can pick out quotes when I read them.

I've only heard the phrase "legs go all the way to the floor" twice, and both times it was in an Aaron Sorkin TV show: The West Wing, and Sports Night. If you look up the phrase, all results will be something to do with one of those two shows.
-
To the OP, are you an Aaron Sorkin fan?

I think you can share it to the Myfitnesspal community. But also, if they are friends with you on here, and you have your diary open, they can go to your diary and copy your meal to their diary. They just have to click on "quick tools", and "copy to today"

When my daughter was that age, she started to push me away too. Her and daddy would be playing on the patio, and if I tried to go out there, she would push me back inside and say "no mama!" But, she didn't see her dad as much because he worked a full time job, and went to school at night. She just missed him, and was used…

My friend brought a breast pump to a baseball game. It looks like a purse. She wasn't trying to sneak anything in, but as soon as the security guy found out what it was, he had no interest in searching it

As long as she follows the recommendations for carbs/fat/protein, and doesn't go over on them, she will stay in her calorie limit.
-
Pretty much this, except protein and carbs are only about 4 calories each.

Carry out from Coney Island and House of Cards on Netflix! I'm eight months pregnant, so the thought of having to actually wait at a restaurant on Valentines day, on a Friday no less, so it will be doubly hectic, does not interest me at all! Plus, you can't go wrong with chili cheese fries and Kevin Spacey :)

Anthony Kiedis for me too!

Tell them you just ate lunch, or breakfast, so you are full, but would it be okay if you could take one togo to enjoy later. That way you don't ever actually have to eat it, but it avoids all the negatives that you mentioned.
-
This may have already been said, but if you are eating out a lot, and relying on websites for nutritional info, you are going to go over on calories. I have worked in the kitchens of many restaurants. What is listed on the website is based on the recipe, which is rarely followed exactly. Portions are eyeballed. A salad may…

YES! Once More With Feeling is awesome! Biggest jump the shark moments for me: Stefan in Family Matters- When they made Steve Urkel cool. Season 2 of 24. They went way too big, too fast by bringing in the bomb in the second season. There isn't anything much scarier than that, so they mostly had to resort to shoving as much…

I used to be good at the viola, but haven't played in over 15 years.

I'm not a guy, but I'm going to list mine anyways...The War with Elijah Wood and Kevin Costner makes me cry like no other movie. I can't watch The Land Before Time by myself because of the part where Little Foot runs up to the cliff and licks it because he thinks his shadow is his mom.

When I got pregnant with my first child, I was the heaviest I had ever been. Then come the pregnancy pounds, which three months after I gave birth, put me 20 pounds heavier than I was when I got pregnant. The moment that did it for me was three months after having my daughter, I went to Cedar Point with my brother's work.…
