  • Well then ladies, I will create us a group for large framed women!!!
  • I am 5'5" I weigh 271. My GOAL is 175. I am a large framed woman. Have you ever had your measurements done to see what size frame you have?
  • I eat what I want within reason and if I over do it, I still track it. Yesterday I had whole wheat cinnamon toast with a little bit of butter, a small banana with a tsp of peanut butter and hot tea with a tsp of sugar for breakfast. I had yogurt for a snack. For lunch I had a cheese quesadilla and a salad. I had a large…
  • if you have your nutritional requirements set up to track carbs, you are already tracking the good sugar.
  • I ignore it. My husband, our kids and my parents all live together. I measure out my portions. I usually eat like HALF of my protein and then my vegetables, then maybe some of whatever carbohydrate I served then back to my meat. A lot of times I am leaving food behind and I get very excited to be full and not have cleaned…
  • I will agree with your assessment that a lot of it is bloat-weight coming off. I bet if you were eating 4500 a day, that included a lot of processed foods which contained a lot of salt. You cut that salt, you cut excess water retention. I would just keep track. Personally for me rapid weight loss past the first 2 or 3…
  • Hitting a plateau can be very frustrating. In my case I have given up on more than one occasion which has led to me weighing 276 and now in the middle of spending probably $2000 on the chiropractor to get my back and neck straightened out. I am 4 visits in and I already have an amazing amount of relief. It's just…
  • I have a 3 year old. She drinks chocolate milk every day for breakfast. I know people who use carnation instant breakfast. I would talk to her doctor before doing it. That's my take on it.
  • When in 6 months the other person started putting weight back on and you are looking great, you will have the satisfaction on knowing you were right and they were the victim of another fad.
  • I only weigh myself about every 2 to 3 weeks. I look at more noticeable things, my jeans being looser. my wedding band sliding when before it was almost cutting into my finger, having to fasten the band of my bra on a tighter hook. Those are my little signals that something is going right. My husband was dancing around the…
  • I eat popcorn. I usually buy the 100 calorie microwave bags.
  • Me too!!!!!!!!!!!!!:embarassed:
  • I am 5'5" and currently weigh 271. My goal is 176. When I got married 8 years ago I was 180. I have had 2 kids since then. At 180 most people guessed that I weighed 160. I am very broad shouldered, broad hipped and even when thinish I have very large fingers (my first boyfriend's hands were smaller than mine when I was 17…
  • I am with everyone else. It happens to all of us and someone who says they have never binged until they were sick is pretty much in denial. I once ate a whole box of Lofthouse iced sugar cookies by myself and at 10 cookies in a package and about 140 calories to a cookie, that is 1400 calories I downed in nothing but pure…
  • I am a small meal and snacks all day grazer. It works for me and keeps me satisfied. To each their own.
  • I know what you mean. I am just starting out, but this is not my first trip down the weight loss road. Sometimes it is so frustrating to see someone who has lost 30 pound and reached their goal and looks great and I have lost the same and still look like a ate the person who reached their goal. I just want to be able to…
  • If it can still be considered baby weight when said baby is 3, then yes. I am trying to lose my baby weight, plus the 40 pounds I have put on since she was born. At any rate, I am trying to lose 100 pounds,
  • when I cannot get fresh strawberries, I love to make smoothies with frozen strawberries. I just mix strawberries with my yogurt instead of eating fresh ones and the yogurt by itself. As long as you make sure to buy no sugar added frozen fruit it is the same as fresh
  • no. I have had stuff like that happen in the past. Like I didn't go down a pants size, but my wedding band suddenly fell off. Then my pants fell off a few weeks later, then my shirts started looking like I was wearing Andre the Giants hand me downs.
  • I have been trying to lose weight for 10 years with varying amounts of success with varying programs. This is my last try before I consider surgery. So far I am doing pretty good. I am trying to make this a true lifestyle change and not just a diet. I have my daily calorie goal set higher than a lot of other people it…
  • shoot Easter weekend I went over by 200 calories on Saturday and 600 on Sunday (darn chocolate eggs!) I just refocused on Monday and kept on going. I usually allow a little indulgence every day to try and prevent this kind of excess, but sometimes it happens. Don't beat yourself up, just get back on track and as Dory from…
  • Nope. Walking more than just daily necessity increases my pain and also makes my knees hurt because of how and where my back is out. I should be able to start doing some gentle yoga next week. FINGERS CROSSED
  • yeah pretty much.

  • bump is when you are trying to get people to see your posts. when you "bump" a post it puts it back at the top of the forum where it is more noticeable. I hope that made sense.

  • We live in Cabot. We are originally from Ohio and moved here almost 7 years ago. I have a 7 1/2 year old son and a 3 1/2 year old daughter. I have lost 5 pounds in 3 weeks and that is with some splurging. I can't wait to see what I can do once I am cleared to exercise!
  • I have 3 more visits next week and then the last two the following week. I am already seeing results so I will keep on keeping on.
  • I have finished the first 3 of my 8 appointments. I am going to see how I feel Monday after my 4th visit and ask him if I can go ahead and start yoga. I just don't want to undo what he has already done and let me tell you, he has done a lot just with 3 adjustments. My pain level is much lower and my legs do not hurt as…
  • Because my lower back is so badly out of alignment, walking is painful. I do what I have to, go to the grocery store, do my household chores, but walking any more than I HAVE to is hell.
  • here is a gratuitous bump. LOL
  • Hi. I am 30. I currently weigh 271. I have done the roller coaster of weight loss and gain for the last 10 years. This is my last ditch effort. If I can't make it stick I am going to resort to looking into surgery. I have mild degeneration in 3 discs in my back, my hips hurt, my legs hurt, and I cannot keep up with my…
