Anyone can feel free to add me. Friends and motivation are good no matter where you are in this journey!!

My only problem with the Weight Watchers scales, you have to contend with the pre programmed points values and "common Foods" that you can't change... Don't get me wrong, my wife's original one was a WW scale... but that was before they started with the more specialized ones. If following WW anyway it is a good investment,…

My wife has had a scale since before we got together, more than 9 years ago, and we just upgraded it. Paid about $15 at one of those kitchen stores for a digital one that will measure in incriments of 1g for more precise measurments.... Once you start using it, it becomes very easy to continue for EVERYTHING. We just got…

Wow, can I relate... Motivation?!?! What's That?!?! I was doing great, had actually lost over 20 lbs. then, back in May, I had to do a road trip to get my son from college, then the wife started a temp job, then our daughter was on summer vacation, I just kept putting myself on the back burner. My wife is on this journey…

Anyone can feel free to add me... I have been on here and done well, but have been off for quite some time and am just getting back at it. my motivation is... umm... non existant, but I know I need this if for no other reason than to be more comfortable with myself. Hopefully I will see similar results to last time.

Anyone here can feel free to add me... I am usually on daily but will occasionally miss a few in a row. I have fallen off the band wagon the past couple of weeks and am trying to get back on with my food and exercises at the moment. Support here has been spotty as of late.... My better half is usually great, but as of late…

DEFINATELY going to try this one!!!

I know this is going to sound cheesy... but start going to a regular Karaoke Night at a bar or resturaunt, as long as you aren't afraid to get up and sing (well or not is no issue). You can meet people there as well as through friends you make there. Met my wife through a friend I made at Karaoke... she was the sister of…

Glad you had fun!! Any KJ who is worth his salt SHOULD have "Rebel Yell", it is kind of a staple. When it comes to metal, I think my best is Rob Zombie's "Dragula"... REALLY throws them for a loop when a clean cut guy (fat or thin) comes up and pulls THAT song out of the hat!! demonNIN... I think you should try…
-
Qatsi, I have never tried "Ballroom Blitz" so I accept your challenge. :glasses: Akijade, I think you should try "Black Velvet" by Alannah Myles... I think you would do it justice. Any and all of those posting on here... Feel free to "Friend" me if you would like. :drinker:

JP... I have one for you the next time the family falls asleep in the car. Nose up to the side of a building, put the car in nutral, rev the engine, and yell "WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!!!" lol
-
sorry... had to start it.... in my opinion it is a terrible thing to waste!! The "audience participation" at a showing of "Rocky Horror" is pretty much the way I go through life... I just can't yell it at the top of my lungs. lol
-
Big Foot... Over done I know, but in my case descriptive.... I wear a US size 16 EEEE.

We got the Gold's Gym recumbant bike from Walmart a couple years back... it says only like 300lbs (in the book NOT on the box), but I was probably 380 when I started using it and had no issues. I have to agree, Craig's is a good option... got one of the older and heavier duty Gazelle units for $40 about a year ago...…

We do count the calories, but we also monitor our sodium (you won't beleive how much you take in without even knowing it) and protien. I do not eat all my calories yet... will probably start if I see a stall in loss. We do exercise regularly. Nothing too extensive, just a 30 minute walk once or twice a day.

Sounds like another nite running Karaoke at the bar!!! I'm In!!

Hi guys, I am not a vegetarian myself, but I am married to a beautiful woman (dle329) who was raised vegetarian and for some reason puts up with me anyway. Since my wife does battle WITH the kitchen rather than IN it, I am generally the one delegated to cooking duity and am usually tasked with finding new ways to veg out…

Hi guys, I'm glad I found this group. I am 6'4" and, although I never quite hit the 400lb. mark, I do know I hit 378 for sure (was probably larger, but I always tried to avoid scales like the plague). I can't say I ever broke a lawn chair, but I can advise you to stay away from the plastic folding chairs at the company…
