hello! This is also one of my reasons. I started getting in shape and losing weight before I even met my husband, but now we have plans in the future for babies and I definately want to be super healthy and prepared for a healthy pregnancy and of couse, healthy baby! It may not happen for us for at least another year,…

also, to the one who mentioned that we aren't thinking of personality, um I can say that I alone mentioned several things about personality. I know I mentioned serious and dark personality, but incredibly silly in private, who dances around the house like an idiot with you just to make you smile. And who reads books. I…

lol when you put it like that!!! I was imagining more ZZ top look, you know Sharp dressed man, cheap sunglasses, scruff... yum. Not a guy in a car with dark tints on the windows and jewelry. Actually, speaking of jewelry, BIG turn off. I can't stand a guy in a gold chain. So.... ick. Douchy

I have never been less than a size 12 in my life, so the goal is to get back there with at most a 24.3 BMI. I'm thinking that will leave me weighing somewhere around 160. Being a 12 though would put me still on the borderline of plus sizes and for the first time in my life I'd like to be a 10, or an 8 so I can shop in the…

YES! Not in a homewrecking way of course, but for real when I see my husband playing with kids I lose my mind and naturally start thinking about all the fun pros of babymaking... lol. Babies love him, whenever we're in the grocery every baby we pass just stares at him and smiles. Oh yes. I love a man who is good with kids.…

OLDER MEN!!!! WOOHOOO I have a strange problem. I have a minimum of ten years older. I like gray hair. :) Just a touch of gray in the beard and sideburns. Good God. Omg you ladies make me want to go home and accost my husband :blushing: For cuddles of course. Yes the accent. I have a chef at home with a hot spanish accent…

SCRRUUUUUUUUUUFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!! Also, really dark eyes with long lashes. And something about a guy who looks pissed off to be where he is. All the time. Until you get to know him and then he's incredibly silly and hilarious, and does funny sweet things like dance around the house with you like an idiot. And make silly…

OMG YES. Sleeves rolled up. My husband does this ALL THE TIME and it's the hotness. also I like guys that look like sexy professors. My husband is a total hottie and then he wore suspenders, a tweed jacket, and a bowtie for our wedding. I almost died coming down the aisle. I also dig a little beard. Just a short one. Like…

This is supposed to be funny... :( Come on guys, tell me the hilarious things you find attractive. I need a laugh today. And by the way, suits = almost always hot, if you wear sunglasses with them. But if you wear suits because you look uptight/shallow/rich/finnicky= NO. :) And I find super confident guys yucky. Badasses…

I  Uncle Andy from Weeds. (Justin Kirk.) It's the personality of the character... and those eyes.... I do like them tall with pretty brown eyes. :) Oh yeah, David Tennant, for nerdy reasons. He also has pretty eyes. And I once had a strange erotic dream about Worf the Klingon from Startrek enterprise, but I was like…

I never lost weight specifically to get back at an ex- but I did let it push me harder. My ex was 6'2'' and 400 lbs, and he actually brought me down a lot in the 7 years we were together. We spurred eachother's bad habits. I am the one who broke it off with him, because we just weren't right for eachother, but as I lose…

I have a REALLY bad one on my knee where I should have gotten a skin graft. I got run over by a hay ride. True story.

Hello beautiful lady!! First off- this happens to LOTS of people. It's so easy to gain weight! Don't berate yourself, because the fact that you gained just means you were investing in other parts of your life and weren't focused on vanity and how you look, and that's not a bad thing really. Now it's not a big deal, just…

I love this! This thread was definately about the unexpected and HONEST benefits, there is one for sure :)

Keep it coming guys!!!! Hey also, don't think that you're "on a diet." You're living life. That's what you're doing. You're living each day as a question mark that asks for more days. Each day we live healthy, we earn another day in our future. I'm not saying you double your life, but every thing you do to be more healthy…

I love this one!!!! I was TERRIFIED to go into a gym. I was terrified to even look like I was having fun, thinking I would find some skinny mean looking girl giggling and pointing at me. You do NOT deserve happiness less because you aren't a size 0!!! Get in that gym!! Get outside!! Screw everyone else, you are who…

I'm 5'8'', with big calves, small thighs, and not a whole lot of butt, with a bit of a belly, size 16. (Craziness I know.) I buy Z-cavarcci's from Torrid. Torrid carries sizes 12-26. They fit perfectly every time. They have just enough stretch, but are perfect because they don't cinch in two inches at the belly like other…

I'm still wearing the shirts... after the first 50 lbs of loss I had to stop just wearing a belt with the pants. I bought one or two more pairs, had some taken in, and found some old ones in my closet I was now able to fit in again. The problem is, now they're all too big again after the last 50 lbs. :) Thinking of finding…

AMAZING!! Keep it up!!!!

My go-to in a plateau is always to take 2-3 cheat days. Up those calories! Go up to maintance levels on your calorie goals, for only a few days. If you've been restricting carbs, now is also the time to up the carbs, and get in some healthy fats like avocado and olives. Don't exercise. Then go back to your normal calorie…

JALEPENO CHEDDAR CHEETOHS ZOMG and the sad part is I'm lactose intolerant and they have milk ingrediants, so it tears my stomach up to eat them, but OMG I WUV THEM SO MUCH

This is exactly the inspiration I needed this week. The post at first was sad and made me angry, and then I realized that where I used to berate myself for getting so overweight before, now I actually see the benefit to living overweight and then going through the hard work of losing it. You become a stronger person, you…

thanks everyone!!! Yeah luckily I was young enough when I decided to change my lifestyle that I wasn't yet affected by some of the long term issues associated with bad habits, so no diabetes luckily. I do seem to get all my sugar from fruit, I'm kind of a fruit monster. I wasn't worrying about the source of my calories,…

I'm an endomorph to a T, but I've lost 100 in the last year. I have 50-75 more to go, and this is how I do it: I avoid dairy altogether. The only reason low-fat dairy is recommended in losing weight is because of the calcium. Ladies, just take calcium supplements, it does the same thing without the fat and the calories.…

1. Losing 100 lbs and people still thinking you're chubby and looking at how much you still have to lose when all you want to do is jump up and down and yell about how amazing life is -100lbs. 2. Looking in the mirror and forgetting all the progress when you see how much there still is to do. 3. sagginess in my belly and…

Thanks everyone, and I notice everyone mentioning ring sizes also. When I was at my heaviest (315), I was a size 10 ring womens. I just got married and my engagement and wedding ring are both 7.5 after 100 lbs of loss. I need to lose a good amount of weight to reach my goal still, but I'm wondering if my ring size will go…

We can be friends! I still have 50-75 more lb to lose!

I'm not sure if I'm 5'8'' or 5'9'' for sure... but I slouch a lot. Regardless, my goal right now is 175, because I haven't been that small since early high school. I don't even know for sure how I would look. But how I envision myself is closer to between 140-150. Let's just be honest though, I don't know how…
