  • Congrats on being so close to your goal! That's fantastic! I love the tattoo idea, but I have to agree with other posters. If you're going to do the feather, it would make more sense with the birds. I got a butterfly tattoo when I lost 100 lbs, and like you, I had decided I didn't want the generic butterflies. There's a…
  • WOW! Amazing job!
  • Congrats, OP! That's awesome! mahlerosa, NSV means non-scale victory.
  • Welcome back! You can add the weight you've gained and MFP will just subract it from what it says you've already lost. I had to add a few lbs back last week. It just made my total lbs lost lower, and now I'm almost back to where I was. Congrats on your previous weight loss, and good luck with the rest of your journey!
  • Thank you - that is a great idea! I've been hesitant to spend a lot of money on clothes right now because I'm hoping I'll be a smaller size soon (I did buy the dress in the pic, though - it was too cute to pass up lol). I bought myself a nice pair of capris that are a size too small for me so I'll have to keep working if I…
  • Thanks, love. I'm so proud of you and Kappy, too. You guys have done amazing. And yeah, Brad definitely approves lol. <3
  • Thanks, everyone. I really appreciate all of the kind words and encouragement. I can definitely see a difference between the two photos, I just feel like I've been in a rut lately. Seems like I lose and gain the same 5 lbs over and over. I do feel like I look younger now, though. I looked pretty rough in that first pic lol.
  • Congratulations on losing 18 lbs! That's a great accomplishment - be proud of yourself! Have you been taking measurements, or doing progress photos in little to no clothing? Those are the easiest ways for me to see changes. I can't tell just by looking in the mirror.
  • I have an Etsy shop (OhHoneyBowtique) where I sell handmade items for little girls (I recently sold a tutu and headband set to Pink!). I work out of my house so I can stay home with my four children.
  • Almost 3pm and my total so far is 1132. I have 886 left for dinner and dessert, which will be plenty.
  • I'm 28, and I would love some supportive, encouraging friends around my age. Feel free to add me. Thanks! :)
  • Hey everyone. I'm a work-at-home mom with four children, ages 2, 6, 8 and 9. I've lost over 150 lbs, but I still have at least 50 that I'd like to lose. I find it difficult to stay out of the kitchen most days, but I've been doing better. Most of my exercise comes from Wii Zumba, 30DS or my elliptical, and I've been pretty…
  • Amazing! You've come so far and I have no doubt you'll reach your goal of 200. You're an inspiration, Howie - keep up the great work!
  • Borderlands. I can't wait for 2 to come out in September.
  • I realized last night that I was sitting on the couch with my knees up to my chest - comfortably. My boobs and stomach weren't in the way, my feet weren't sliding off... I've never been able to sit like that.
  • I've been having the same problem. Everything's either too big or too small, and I'm too frugal to spend money on clothes I won't wear for very long. When I'm home, I just wear my yoga pants and tank tops.
  • I had a really hard time getting used to drinking just water, and enough of it. I started drinking the zero calorie SoBe Lifewaters first and then started alternating those and plain water. Now the Lifewaters taste too sweet to me and water is the only thing I drink. Every once in a while, I'll add a bit of Mio, but even…
  • You can do it, Kappy. <3
  • I was pretty sore when I first started it, but after the first few days, it got better. I made the mistake of taking a couple days off after I started Level 2, though, and when I started up again, it was so difficult. I wish I would've just powered through it. I log it as 20 minutes of circuit training as well. I want to…
  • I'm in! Zumba on my Wii is my favorite exercise to do. I did a 20-minute class this morning, and it shouldn't be hard for me to squeeze one in everyday.
  • Just did Level 2, Day 1. Have to agree with the others who said their stamina is so much better than when they started Level 1. I pushed through the whole workout, only stopping to catch my breath a couple of times. I probably shouldn't have done it right after I did 20 minutes of Zumba, but I knew if I put it off until…
  • I just finished Level One, Day Four and I can definitely tell a difference already. I still hate the bicycle crunches, though. I sound like I'm dying when I do those.
  • Pop Chips are my favorite - the bbq ones are amazing! I haven't found them many places around here, but Target and CVS usually have them.
  • I'm a hardcore Borderlands junkie. Date nights with my husband consist of sending the kids to grandma's, ordering chinese and camping out on the couch playing Borderlands. I can't freaking wait for 2 to be released in September. He's determined to get me into Fallout and Skyrim next.
  • I just started 30DS yesterday, so I'm glad I found this thread. I really like the workout and I'm pretty determined to stick with it, but having some encouragement to keep me on track is always a good idea.
  • Mine won't show up, maybe because I used Flickr, but here's the link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/64272983@N07/7322055902/
  • Wow - you look great! Amazing job! <3
  • Sounds great. I'll give it a shot and let you know how it goes. Thank you!
  • This is an amazing thread. Best advice I've seen. Before I get into my question, here are my stats: 28 years old 5'7" CW: 240 SW: 273 (as of 12/2011; I was at 350 a few years ago and lost about 100 lbs, but pregnancy threw me off-track) GW: 170 (for now; probably more like 150, but 170 is what my dr recommended) As I…
  • I'd like to join in, too. I could always use some extra motivation. April 25th: Starting weight - 243 1) Lose 15-20lbs 2) Do at least 30 min cardio everyday 3) Do strength training 3x a week 4) Consume under calorie goal daily 5) Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day
