You look amazing. It's like you're a different person. Congrats! You must be so proud of yourself :)

Wow! Talk about inspiring - you look amazing. Congrats!

You look fantastic! And yay for abs :) I'm super jealous!

Well done!

Day 5 done! Managed to do more of the jumping jacks than before.
-
You look great! Just the motivation I needed going into day 5! Thanks and keep up the good work

I use 3s for everything except the rows, bicep curls and chest raises. I can barely get through the anterior raises with 3s. Those things'll kill me! :grumble:
-
I tend to weigh in everyday to help keep myself on track but I probably won't measure until the end of March. Hopefully I'll have some big results by then :)

Day 4 for me. I was way more out of breath today but I think I'm working harder. I wouldn't say I find it any easier but I think my endurance is up a little. Still, roll on 31st!

Day 3 for me as I missed yesterday. I'm still too bust not dying to be enjoying myself yet but I think I'm improving a little. This was the first day I could pick myself up off the floor afterwards and jump on my stationary bike for 35 minutes so I count that as a win!

1) Jumping Jacks are killing me. Even with everything strapped down, there's too much wiggle and bounce :blushing: 2) Anterior raises. I can handle the lunges but I haven't been able to do a full set of anterior lunges yet without taking a 5 sec break. 3) Push ups. I've been getting better and doing more each day but I'm…

Wow. Impressive. Level one's still kicking my *kitten*. I can't even contemplate level two!

You do what you can. You can't ask more of yourself than that :)

I have an anxiety disorder and find that working out when I'm stressed lowers my anxiety so I definitely push harder. As for working out angry? I'm one of those blow and and it's over types so I don't tend to hold onto anger for very long. I can see how it would make you work harder though :)

Yeah. I don't usually eat back any of my workout calories but since starting 30DS, I've been so hungry that I eat at last half back.
-
I took a rest day today because I slept in and didn't have time to workout for the rest of the day :( I'll be going flat out until the 31st though hopefully. I say, if you need a day then take it. Your body is getting used to a new workout though so it's bound to be a little sore. If you can, try and push through but if…

Sports bra, some capris and my trainers. I find that if I don't wear trainers which working out a) my plantar fasciitis flares up and b) my foot rolls out and I hurt my ankle.

I got my workout in this morning. I struggled a bit but I pushed through. I feel okay just now - no aches and pains. Ask me again tomorrow and it might be a different story though :) How was your workout?

THIS! All the goodness of cake without the guilt. This should be perfect. Thanks :)

I'm super excited about getting started. I've tried 30DS a couple of times before but I've never made it past day 3. I'm determined to stick it out to the end this time and knowing there's support from others going through it will help loads. I'll be taking measurements and weighing in tomorrow then getting started! Good…

I'm in. I promised myself a few weeks ago that I'd start it on 1st March. Nice to see someone else having the same idea. That way I won't be the only one suffering this month lol :) Good luck and feel free to add me :)

I was going between 55-65. I was going as fast as I could but I'm new to the elliptical so I'm not sure if that's an okay speed or not.
-
The monitor was an unwanted present and was apparently unused. I know, but it's a difference of almost 400 cals. Just seems like a low burn for 25 minutes. Even the elliptical said I burned over 200 cals.
-
I washed the strap and wore it during my workout on the elliptical (26.5 mins). MFP says I should have burned 570 cals but my HRM says I only burned 193 cals. I worked hard throughout and at the end I was drenched in sweat. I know there's a difference between MFP and HRM but that much? I should note I weight 316 lbs.

Back in high school, one cruel boy started calling me tree trunks (my thighs) and fat fingers. All his friends would stand and laugh. It got to the point that I would purposely walk out of my way to avoid his little posse. I could maybe understand that kind of behaviour if I had done something/said something about him, but…

It should tell you on the back of the packet. On the back of my pack it give the nutritional values for 100g but there's an asterix saying 100g weighs 170g when cooked. Still, the nutritional value is based on the dry amount. So if your label says 100g of dry pasa contains 320 cals, then that's what it is regardless of…

I have plantar fasciitis so I prefer the elliptical because it'd kinder on my heals. Plus, I like that my arms get a work out too!

That's horrible! It can really hurt when the people closest to us don't give us support or actively try to hurt us. People like that must be so unhappy with themselves that they push it off onto other people. Maybe unfriending her on facebook isn't enough. If she's causing you this much upset, it might be time to just cut…

The podiatrist was going to give me orthotics but she's not sure what's causing the pain I have along my 4th metatarsal so she took the orthotics off of me and referred me to the biomechanics clinic. In the meantime, she gave me some exercises to stretch my achilles tendon and told me to wear my trainers all the time…
