Cottage cheese I eat plain, but I add lots of stuff to greek yogurt. Pineapple+stevia+coconut extract=Tropical paradise! Strawberries+stevia+kashi go lean cereal= classic parfait Cantaloupe+ginger+stevia(not always necessary if the cantaloupe is really sweet) I also like to combine equal parts greek yogurt and salsa. The…

Well, you can start your pizza off with a cauliflower pizza crust. I've made it before, and its actually really good. Its pretty low calorie (definitely more low cal than flour based crusts). The recipe calls for regular cheese, but I've found that you can decrease the calories even more by using fat free cheese. The odd…

Lettuce, onion, bell pepper, chicken, and then make a healthy, creamy sauce by combining equal parts salsa and fat free greek yogurt, along with some taco seasoning and/or cumin and red pepper flakes. It makes for a DELICIOUS spicy mexican chicken wrap

There are a couple different possibilities. First off, there's little difference between the spf levels when you get over spf 45 (although I heard from another source that it was anything higher than spf 30 that didn't matter) Secondly: did you get a waterproof sunscreen? Sunscreen can wash off pretty easily, especially if…

The crust adds a lot of calories to a pizza. If you're willing to try an interesting substitutes, you can decrease the calories. Here's a recipe for cauliflower pizza crust. I've tried it and its actually really good. The entire crust has just under 500 calories. I regular pizza crust has around 1000…

Dana Scully from the X-Files was my first ever chick crush. I would still do her without hesitation. I love a feisty red head. :P I'd have to add Jewel Strait to the list though. She's just too cute.

This study suggests that caffeine promotes weight loss without adverse effects. http://ukpmc.ac.uk/abstract/MED/12032741/reload=0;jsessionid=DXCOQ7tXyw5VlpXiwSfz.8 This study says the same. It also adds that in women who drink little caffeine, drinking green tea can help with weight maintenance/loss…

Yup, like every one else is saying, just stick with it. You start out feeling like a fool. That's okay. Every one started at that level. Laugh it off and keep moving. After while you get the muscle memory, and it becomes natural.

Haha, agreed. If vodka were calorie free, I would be getting drunk waaay more often. How about the one that you can target burn fat by working out that body part. Like doing crunches will burn belly fat, or doing squats will burn butt fat.

Thanks for all the replies! Haha, sorry, I wasn't trying to make it seem like I'm sedentary. If anyone tried to claim that I wasn't getting enough exercise, I'd be very tempted to punch them in the face and make them follow me for my entire run. Six miles is hard work! I only included that last bit because that's basically…

I too am a late night eater. i don't know why, I just like consuming most of my calories at night. I'll eat a whole slew of healthy veggies, fruits, and proteins, but at night I get a "bring on the carbs!" sort of feeling. I've found though, that it helps if plan for your late night snacks and log them early in the day.…

When I was a kid my dad packed my lunch, and gave me a banana. Every. Single. Day. After awhile, just thinking about bananas made me want to gag. That was a long time ago, though, and bananas are once again one of my favorite fruits Now though, I would have to say that I am starting to get over egg beaters, which is a…

If you're worried about artificial sweeteners, then make your own tea! I'm not much of a fan of plain water. Its too bland for me. Yes, I can force myself to drink it, but I don't enjoy it. its a chore to drink a decent amount of plain water. That's where tea comes in. Its so much more enjoyable to drink fluid when it has…

Way. To. Go!!!! Its one thing to be quick and athletic and not have any problem finishing a 5k Its quite another to have all the set backs you've had, and still persevere and push yourself to the very end. Mad props to you, my friend. Your tenacity and ability to push yourself to your own extreme is *far* more admirable…

I agree with what people are saying here If you want to run, then go for a frickin' run. Its what you want, you shouldn't deny yourself this healthy habit because of what people might think To be honest vast majority of people aren't going to judge you. But you probably know that. You've probably heard that a hundred…

Yup, self diagnosed food porn addict, right here! I can spend hours looking up pictures, researching different foods, and devising ways of making recipes healthier. I love buying foods that I've never tasted before, do it on a whim, and try to incorporate them into a recipe The kitchen is my science lab, and my experiments…

I agree, meal time is irrelevant. You ate that burrito 6 hours before your normal bedtime. For someone like me that goes to bed at a fairly reasonable 11:00, that would be like eating at 5:00. That's completely within reason. The way you're eating is normal

My activity level is set to slightly active. If my calorie goal were slightly above my bmr, I wouldn't worry, and I'd just forget about logging the walks. However, as it is I'm not very good at even meeting my bmr (not good, I know, but I'm trying), so adding more of a calorie deficit to diet is not a good thing.

I am student going to a college that is 5.5 hours from home, and whenever I make the long drive back, I always bring popcorn. I air pop my own and stick it in a brown paper bag I like popcorn because its a good munchy snack. You get quite a few handfuls per serving, which satisfies my craving to graze. Beef jerky is…

Fat free reddi-whip or almond milk. Usually, if I'm not drinking it black, I'll add almond milk to my coffee. I love the taste it adds. However, its pretty watery and doesn't add that nice creamy mouth feel That's where the fat-free reddi-whip comes in. I love this stuff like a junkie loves crack. Its 5 calories per 2…

Amen, sister. Amen. I do the exact same thing.

I neat tip: replace half the recommended water for cooking with a stock or broth (I use chicken, but you could use veggie or whatever type you want). It really ups the flavor. I also like adding a wedge of laughing cow cheese (the garlic and herb stuff goes especially well with the taste of chicken broth) to give it a nice…

Fat free greek yogurt + strawberries + splenda + Kashi go lean cereal = "Aww hell yeah" parfait

Egg whites are practically pure protein. Mix in some veggies (the veggies will add a few carbs, but not a whole lot) and you can make yourself a nice veggie scramble.
