Hi, I'm 5'7", 126lbs (started at 135) and aiming to get down to 122lbs. But trying to get that body fat % down so hopefully will put back those 4lbs in muscle! I've added you :)

MASSIVE well done on your jog! That's a wonderful achievement :drinker: But yes, I know exactly how you feel. I went over by 800 CALORIES last night. Disgusting. Was doing really really well, then I had one high calorie snack absentmindedly and it all went downhill from there :grumble: But the point is, it was only 500…

That thread's actually what I was referring to when I said many of us know this already. V. useful! But yeah, The 600cals part is what I found interesting too.
-
Wow, so much activity here! Well done to everyone on their logging (and to tristalin for your great loss!). My loggings going really well... I'm finding that if I plan out my whole day the day before, leaving 100-300 cals for exra snacks/changes it all works out really well! So I'm staying on track nicely now. No manic…

broccoli chicken breast porridge tomatoes apples interesting thread!

lol this is me too! bad habit :grumble: @sim247 - keep at it! I know how you feel, mine's floating away too. But remember how much hard work you've put in!! It would be a shame to let it all go to waste my starting to regain it :flowerforyou: Happy first of the month everyone! I want to go get an advent calendar but I know…
-
Positive I hope, because that's exactly what I do!
-
Aww I'm sorry you're having such an awful time! It all takes some getting used to, learning what are good, filling, low calorie choices for you and what are slightly more unwise. I'd suggest... 1) Not punishing yourself! It'll be far like you stick with this plan if you're not suffering the whole way through  Try…
-
@vasquirrel - welcome to the thread! I struggle with the weekends too... I tend to have this thread in the back of my mind now tho which helps guilt me into logging at least! (eventually lol). How's the getting back to exercise going? I think my gym membership's been my saviour during my time on MFP... maybe I'm just…

@vayax - What?! It must be the scale screwing up. If you've been good then you CAN'T have put on weight. Unless it's muscle? Either way, I wouldn't worry  The scale's been annoying me, jumping about all over the place showing me all sorts of horrible numbers! So I think I'm going to try and ignore it for a while.…

This is exactly what I was going to say! I can never do the 1200 calorie limit because the fact I have to be sooo careful makes me panic and then binge after dinner! Raising your limit will mean slower progress in theory, but if you're struggling on whatever limit you're on now I would definitely give it a go. May well do…

@charmed2570 - Congrats on the determination! @efcdcdb - Did you enjoy the wedding? That's my plan too - to just not fall off the wagon! Am literally clinging on for dear life  @tristalin - Well done! I guess you've just hit that wonderful balance between being careful enough most of the time and enjoying yourself!…

I saw this this morning and thought the exact same thing! Postsecret = best thing about Sundays

I resisted! I'd planned all my food so with like 10 cals left I knew I couldn't have a yoghurt either... So some friends came round last night and we had one of those MASSIVE xmas boxes of chocolate in the house. I sat there for like four hours staring at this stupid box while they all munched their way through and didn't…

Well done to you all for doing so well! This thread seems to have died a bit... everyone still holding up? I'm still logging away - trying to be extra good for a week so hopefully I'll see a nice, motivating number on the scale come friday!
-
So it's day 2, and knowing I definitely can't go over my calories is making me crave chocolate like crazy!! Lol, so pathetic... How's everyone doing? Obsession going well?
-
Right, Obsession Week 1: 26/11 - 2/12 Weight: 126.1lbs Waist: 27 Lovehandles (make them go away!!): 32 Body Fat: 26.2% I think I'll say for every week I complete I'll do a more relaxed day (just below maintenance or something). Once I've got to 18/12 I'm going to get myself new jeans! @Vayax - good luck for your birthday…
-
This is exactly what I'm like too! I was so incredibly good for the first month and a half, until I decided I really did deserve a bit of a treat day (which I did). BUT, now I seem to give myself a cheat day EVERY WEEK. And I know you're supposed to relax a little, but not for a whole day. CONSTANT binging. Anyway, I use…

I'm having a similar problem of UNBEARABLY slow weightloss! All your ideas sound great - may well steal your facebook idea! Vegetating in front of the computer is probably not such a good idea for me... I've got a few more for you if your interested? - Switch strength training from before cardio to after (or vice versa, or…

Christmas time (which thanks to advertising now starts early November) just ISN'T the time for weight loss! I've decided to try and motivate myself by bringing my calories down from 1350 to 1200, and I may save a few exercise ones just for this week. I want to see the scales go down! I checked today and I've gone UP 1.2lbs…

I think I've entered the holiday spirit prematurely. Keep eating over my cals! And caring less and less.. bored of the gym... I can see where this is going!! My motivation seems to be leaving me which is pretty upsetting. My dad bought me a terrys chocolate orange this evening which I LOVE and havent had in years...…

Probably one of the best news stories I've ever seen…

I just saw in your profile that youre from London too! If you're worried about going to your family's doctor you can go into any hospital or GUM clinic and see someone completely removed from your family. Another GP surgery may see you too if you describe your circumstances. Maybe you can share all of this with a friend so…
-
Your visits to your doctor should be completely confidential.. But if you're still worried do you have free sexual health clinics in the US like we have here? I'm not sure about after 7 days.. you could ask the pharmacist? They'll let you know.
-
I think you have up to 72 hours. Either way, I just wanted to say I'm so sorry about all of this and I can't imagine how awful it all must be for you! All I can say is please try not to blame yourself or be ashamed of what happened because I really can't see how any of this is your fault... what happened must have been…

Yes please! Was 126.3 last Friday. I'm in the UK so don't have to stress about Thanksgiving, but aiming to maintain from around the 20th onwards!
-
I've fallen in love with spinning! NEVER thought that would happen

Yumm I LOVE oatmeal. Have it almost everyday, and especially in winter it's so nice to have something warm and comforting in the mornings! I've been craving sweet things recently and so I've been adding a tablespoon of sugar free apricot jam along with my regular blueberries. Only an extra 10 or 20 cals and sooo nice
-
Ah dear, well did you enjoy your evening off anyway? I figure as long as you enjoy your "bad food" at least something's been gained  Anyway, good for you! Exactly, tomorrow's a new day. I've been really good today and yesterday to try and make up for the HORROR that was Sunday afternoon. I held back from eating my…

Thank you for all the responses! I did do a big fat workout this morning to try and undo a bit of the damage, but I'm going to take all of your advice and let myself off :)
