I measure everything, because when I eyeball, I find I'm off.

Tonight it was a milkshake from Dairy Queen! However yogurt or fruit is a favourite.

I wouldn't do cardio between sets myself due to my goal being to build strength and focus on lifting when I'm working out. If you do cardio between sets your HR will be high and I'd be surprised if you would be as effective lifting, at least based on my experience. If you want to do both sure go ahead, but it will take…

Once a week works for me. Daily would drive me nuts, with the ups and downs of our bodies and water retention. Once a week balanced that out. I also measure once a month, because as others have pointed out, the scale depending on where you are starting and what your goals are, isn't always the best indicator.

Amazing, you look 20 years younger.

Gaspari Nutrition Myofusion Adanced Muscle Building Protein - Milk Chocolate I mix it with water the majority of the time and it still tastes great.

Way to go! You look like a different person.

That's amazing, you look 15 years younger.. Clearly a great effort and a lot of dedication on your part.

I have a 610 and from a GPS perspective it's great, it locks onto the satellites a lot fast than my old 205. From a style perspective it looks like a watch and is just a little larger than my Ironman watch, which is a big difference over my old 205, which was a block on my wrist.

I'll keep this simple after reading our first and second posts, your b/f is a selfish *kitten*, time to move on and find someone who meets your needs and is willing to carry their half of the deal. Also, before you meet someone else, either get your drinking under control or stop, even if it is just once a week, by your…

I started at 307 - 6'1". I couldn't steady jog at that time, so I walked two min, ran two min. Did that for 20 min, then 30 a few times, then 40 a few times, 50, up to an hour. Then I gave running a shot for 30 min straight and was successful, now I can run up to an hour straight. But, I still do my 2 min walk, 2 min run…

Excellent! Such accomplishments are great and always leave an amazing feeling. Which of course is more motivation to keep at it.

I eat both, I'll eat 1-3 eggs depending on how hungry I am mixed it with 3/4 cup of egg whites.

Like most others I had a look at your profile and noted that you only want to lose 22 lbs as your goal and you are basically halfway there with 10 lbs to go. So I'm going to make an assumption and while I could be wrong, I base it upon what I've seen on MFP, namely if people want to lose a 100 lbs as their goal, they…

I have guiltless pizza about once a week. I put in a hard day of cardio and make real pizza fit within my calories for the day without going over. In other words, when I want pizza, I have to earn it and that allows me to eat it guilt free.

Shreddies. Even when I didn't watch what I ate, I was never a fan of the coated in sugar cereals. But, each to their own.

It takes some pre-planning and prep, but as others have said for each shift make yourself snacks and a meal or two that you can take with you. Not sure if you have room for a small lunch cooler bag or the like, but that works well. The other option is become a firefighter and eat at the hall and actually get some shut eye…

Once a week, naked.

While reviewing the replies from the posters who've had so much success, I noted the majority of them all have a common theme (which really isn't that surprising I guess), they exercised - walked, hiked, ran, etc. 4-6 times a week to accomplish their goals.

4 and 1, in that order.

I concur with the others, if you don't have an opinion on if you prefer a TM or bike more, you will want to hold off on that purchase until you get a sense for what you want. I have a treadmill which I love and I have a road bike, which I put on an indoor trainer when I want.

Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back

At least the rest of the world and the U.S. don't have an identity crisis. As other have said, in Canada we regularly mix metric and imperial. Milk, Juice, Pop, Water, Beer - Metric, Hard liquor, people usually talk about buying a 40 or 26, as in oz. Buying meat, metric. Cooking and recipes, that's all over the place…

BODY GLIDE + TIGHT SPANDEX SHORTS = NO CHAFFING I've done this for years and run for miles without chaffing. I wear a pair of regular running shorts over the spandex shorts, since tight spandex shorts on most men, let alone one who is heavier, isn't a pretty sight.
