Quick 30 min run outside would work AM or PM. Or create your own 20-30 min workout consisting of jumping jacks, planks, squats, push-ups, crunches, lunges, shoulder push-ups etc - if you move through the circuit fast a few times you will keep your HR up and use this more as a cardio-strength combo rather than just strength…

Very nicely said! Congratulations on your anniversary and all the best in the years to come :)

Cottage cheese or plain Greek yogurt sweetened with stevia or a little low-sugar jam (I keep 1-2 jars of low-sugar homemade jam in the fridge just for this). A low sugar protein bar, even half, is also a good snack. A good tasting Protein powder mixed with water or low-fat milk.

hey, I'm on the West Coast and haven't brushed my teeth for the night yet :) I'm definitely going over 20 :) I like this challenge very much already!

I'm in and the 20 for Dec 1st are done! I started doing squats while brushing my teeth anyway, nice to put them in a "thon" :)

ThinkThin are my favorites - 15-20g protein at 200-230 cal. I like the creamy PB, espresso, white chocolate and my absolute favorite is the chocolate-covered strawberry one. I get them at Trader Joe or Whole Foods (the espresso and strawberry). Another one I like from Trader Joe is Promax low-sugar (it has Stevia) - PB…

2-3 times/week, when I feel like it. It's nice to see that after 7-8 days I'm at a minus even if it appeared I gained 0.5-1 lb on day 3 or 5.

Everything! The 2% greek yogurt, the salad mix bags, the pub cheese (with Jalapeno), the Lacy Swiss and Colby slices, the valencia creamy salted peanut butter, the Italian Hearth bread as well as fresh ciabata and fresh Tuscan... The free range chicken (breast or thighs), the pollo asado, the carne asada, the pasta sauces…

1st of all pierce it every 2in with a fork or the tip of the knife - otherwise it will explode in the oven... I like to broil mine till the skin is crispy/burned a little - then i put it in a covered pot and I wait for it to "sweat" a bit so that it peels easier, but it's still hot (doesn't peel well cold). I only use…

Of course you can, just for the pleasure of it :) Afterwards maybe you can aim for a total monthly distance - I was anxious about longer distances, so the first time I ran 5 miles, 6 miles, or over 70 miles in a month I was happier and more confident that after an actual race. The same way, you can also enjoy the fun and…

Keep on going! And you are right, last time I wore the same size jeans I was at least 15 lb lighter. Exercise is marvelous :) I need to go shopping for new pants too, I have only 2 pairs left for the office.

You can totally complete the program on treadmill and afterwards go out. I did it twice (2 yrs apart) and the 2nd time I went out sooner as it was late spring and the weather cooperated (I live in Seattle - I was ready to run, but not in constant drizzle!). And I agree with other posters - just doing the program, at any…

Push-ups, several series/day. Nothing is better than your body weight for strength training.

Congratulations!!! That must be so so exciting! I started in April (2nd time doing C25K) and i just got over 220 miles, looking forward to 100/month and 500 overall. You're an inspiration!

Impressive!! Keep it up and the marathon will be here in no time :)

I go to the gym/run BECAUSE my work is very stressful :) There are days when at the end I feel drained and want to crawl into a hole but I make myself go, I start my warm-up, then I run as much as I can (or have planned), then some push-ups, weights and ta-daaa - I don't care anymore. The veil of stress lifting from my…

When I feel I have no energy I take an Emergen-C 15-20 minutes before I start my cardio and most of the times it helps me keep at it for at least 30 minutes. The added bonus is that the B6 in Emergen-C helps immensely with the TOM as it helps metabolize hormones faster. Even 2-3 Emergen-Cs over 4-5 days help a lot.

Congratulations for being "that guy" :) Keep it up!

I've been wearing Natori Convertible Underwire Performance Sports Bra for years for running. I get them at Nordstrom Rack at under $30, they are about $54 full price.

I did the program twice very successfully, with a plain electronic watch.... because you run so slowly in the beginning there is plenty of time to look at the watch on your wrist. Because there are under 30 min of moderate cardio activity in the program, you could still run a bit the other days if you want, but for the…

Running - slowly but a few times/week. I have an hourglass shape and whenever I dieted in the past I would loose from mid-section and face/upper body mostly. My hips would not budge, thighs just a bit. But with running about 45-60 min/3 times per week and watching my food with MFP my thighs and hips just melt away,…

C25K - Couch to 5K program - you just need to bing it. I agree, I had success with it twice (once 2 yrs ago, I restarted this April). Both times a got to running a full 5k (slowly but running the whole thing) in about 7-9 weeks. This time around I trained 3 times/week consistently and I finished a 5k race in under 35 min…

Thank you for sharing your journey, you look amazing. And I'm happy to see the 1200 cal style working. I eat very healthy, always a few grams over with my protein, but eating just half my carbs. I don't eat sweets, bread or nut butters, all my carbs come from veggies. I usually have a cup of milk (w coffee:)) for breakfast…
