Calculators say I should be at 1700 a day so that's where I have mfp set and I do maintain. But I go over my calories often. Sometimes on the weekends I go over by quite a bit. My guess is I should be more in the 2000 range so my 1700 is probably a slight deficit but I keep it there to give me some breathing room.

Like others said, bread won't stop you from losing weight. There's no reason you can't eat a sandwich. That being said, I focus on meeting my protein goals and sometimes I find that if I eat a sandwich then my protein ends up being low for the day. An option I love are these flat bread things, I think they're called…

I think maintenance breaks are great. Last year after I had lost about 80 pounds, I reached my goal weight of 137, which was the very high end of normal bmi. I stayed there for a few months just to see how I felt. After that time I decided to lose another ten pounds. Now I've been maintaining around 125 lbs for the past 7…

Yeah we need more info. Are you weighing your food? Tracking accurately? How much do you weigh and how quickly are you trying to lose? It's extremely important to be accurate when you're breastfeeding. I would highly recommend weighing your food. Also if you don't have much weight to lose, it's going to take longer to lose…

I definitely still see my tummy as chubby even though the rest of my body is quite lean and most people describe me as tiny. I know it's not in my head. I could lose ten more pounds (I'm short) but I'm already wearing a size small or 4-6 in pants so I don't feel the need to lose more. I have 4 kids and lots of loose skin…

I'm 5'2.5" and maintain between 123-126. I know I could lose more. My upper body and back are extremely lean but my thighs have some fat and I definitely have belly fat (combined with tons of loose skin from 4 babies). I could try to lose that but I don't care honestly! I still wear a size small in pretty much all brands…

I don't necessarily crave the food more (I always deal with cravings) but since it's getting colder I find myself way less willing to go take a walk or play outside with my kids so I'm sure I'm burning fewer calories. That means the extra handful of crackers or fun size candy bar from my kids' Halloween basket makes a…

We have 4 buckets full of candy and young kids who wouldn't notice if we stole some!! I ate 5 pieces tonight!! But I mostly stayed within my maintenance range. Mostly lol. I love snickers and PB cups although the Pb cups are pretty high in calories compared to others. I love chopping up a snickers bar and mixing it into my…

I lost 90 lbs and I don't feel fat anymore. It took time though. My body isn't perfect but I wear a size small clothing comfortably in pretty much every brand and people who never knew me when I was obese will comment about how "tiny" I am. That being said, I didn't really feel fat at 210 pounds either. I knew I was fat…

I eat before bed every night. I lost 90 lbs, maintaining since April. I saved calories for bedtime because that's my favorite time to snack.

Oh my gosh! I almost never weigh myself after I have a few days like that where I way over eat. I give it a day before I check out the damage lol. I'm going to Disney in just under 2 months for about 5 days and I'm going to try to be mindful with food choices but it's so hard. Especially when there are buffets involved…

Yep I'm at almost 2 years of using fitness blender as my primary workout! I invested in adjustable weights for the strength exercises and I love how strong I am now. I've learned a lot about fitness.

I've lost 90 and I've been in maintenance since April. I made changes in baby steps rather than going crazy changing everything at once. Initially I focused on just staying below my calories for the day and moving a bit more. Then after I was doing that consistently I started focusing more on macros and eating more…

There's a food entry for breastfeeding on the mfp database that is a negative number. That's what I usually did.

I've been in maintenance since April after losing 90 lbs. I definitely have continued logging and will probably always need to, but probably not every day and every meal. Sometimes I will go a week or two without logging. Then I usually end up gaining and start logging again to get back on track. But the two week break is…

I'm 5' 2.5" and my maintenance range is 123-126. Well, today I was 127.8 despite sticking closely to my calorie goal this week so that is annoying! But anyway, I feel great at that range. I'm active and do regular strength training as well which I think makes a difference in my body. I still have some fat around my stomach…

Um I'm 5'3 and 125 lbs, husband is 7 feet and 230 lbs! Pretty major body size differences although we are both healthy weights. But his diet is way different than mine because he can maintain at way higher calories being 2 feet taller. Like others said, we make meals that our family enjoys and then we just eat different…

It's mathematically possible but you'd have to be more careful with calorie intake. I'm short, so losing the last bit of weight would've meant 1200 calories a day which was not ok with me. I included exercise along the way and I'm in maintenance now, still exercising regularly. Honestly I couldn't maintain at 125 lbs…

Are you weighing all your food? Do you eat back exercise calories? Do you log absolutely everything?
-
I'm 5' 2.5" and weigh 125 lbs. My original goal was 127 (started at 212). I have a maintenance range of 123-126. I could get below 123 if I really wanted but I'm happy here. I wear a size 4 or small and I like how I look!

I like maintenance better because I'm skinny now. B)

I have so many foods I love. But I would say candy is my weakness, specifically chocolate. Not even fancy good chocolate, but snickers or kit kats and m&ms. I must eat them every day!

Supposedly my TDEE is 1700 calories a day but when I stick to that I lose close to a pound a week. I'm in maintenance technically but trying to take off a couple pounds that crept back on so I'm at 1700 a day now for that and it's great. I'm 5.2.5" and 125 lbs.

I started January 2015. :) After my baby was born. Down 85-90 lbs (maintenance range) and maintaining since April of this year!
-
That is really high. My Garmin actually runs quite low and tells me I burn 1600 calories in a day when I exercise but in reality I can eat 2000 a day to maintain. I don't pay attention to the numbers on there anyway to be honest. I just eat the amount that works for me. Like others mentioned, I only wear the chest strap…

I've nursed 4 babies. I remained obese after the first 3 because I kept telling myself that weight loss affected my milk supply so I would quit right away. It probably did affect my milk supply because I would cut waaay too many calories. After baby #4, I started counting calories at 4 weeks post partum. My milk supply was…

I'm 5' 2.5". I've gone from 212 to 125ish. Here's a 1 year MFP anniversary picture... this was back in February and I think I've lost several pounds since this picture was taken but I'm too lazy to do an after picture lol. I've been in maintenance since April.

I love those Chobani flips!! They easily fill me up until dinner. They have some delicious 200 calorie ones (I particularly love the peanut butter dream one) but they also have some really good 100 calorie ones. The nice thing about the 100 calorie ones is they are the same amount of protein but half the calories, so…

I don't think I could even go 21 hours lol.

Probably a couple times a month I overeat, but like others have mentioned I bank my calories. Right now I have been eating in a deficit for the past week and will continue for another week because next weekend is my town's annual festival and there will be food and drinking and all sorts of fun where I would prefer not to…
