I think you look fantastic. I wouldn't call that skinny fat at all. :)

To answer your question, yes some women tend to feed their men and put some weight on them. My husband was probably about 145-150lbs when we met 5 years ago. He's now 165-170lbs. Not my fault entirely though. It's his own fault for being so hungry all the time. He hasn't really gained a pant size in the last 5 years…

I'd say change the goal to 1lb a week. To be honest, at that I was losing sometimes 2 lbs a week. MFP just estimates. It's not the official say so in how many pounds you'll lose in a week. OR if you want to stick to your goal being 1200 I'd say eat back your exercise calories. You'd be surprised. I eat 1800 calories a day…

Well, I have dated chubbier men and thinner men. I found both attractive for different reasons. My husband is lean and fit though. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"... yes cliche, but still very true. It's all on what you find attractive. I liked bigger men because... well they were bigger than me usually (I was…

bacon and eggs with either an english muffin or a slice of wheat toast. bacon = 60 cals, egg = 70 cals for 1, toast = 70 cals for 1 slice. 200 calories if nothing else is added. not too shabby and it's yummy! i sometimes do more than 1 egg though or add some spinach to my eggs. :)

Spinach. I like putting it in salads, smoothies, pasta, eggs, and most recently I've been cooking it with some left over rice. I put a little bit of olive oil into a small skillet, add garlic and spinach and cook it just a little, throw in 1/2 a cup of left over brown rice and eat it with whatever I'm having for lunch or…

this is mine exactly... LOL i carry my weight in my lower half as well.

I think you look great, but I know my opinion on the way you look isn't what you're looking for. I'm somewhat like you... doing p90x I literally lost 3lbs. Yep. That's in. In 3 months, I lost 3lbs. BUT I lost inches. I lost about 10 inches from my body which is great. I wear a size small/medium top now and a size 10 jeans…

AAAAAAAAAh is your belly button sad?? Mine is sad. That's how I describe the way it looks. LOL It's a tad droopy.. :frown: Anyhow, I have noticed that since doing some strength training it has helped to "lift" my belly. I used to have this "flap" of skin in the area of my belly that would be above my thighs... not entirely…

absolutely this.

geez... i read that crap thread too. lol i'm not even saying anything about her... because i wouldn't have anything nice to say.
-
awesome! i want to show this to a dear friend of mine! she has pcos and is struggling with her weight also. you look fantastic! congrats!
-
I'd assume so. Sure makes things a lot easier! :D LOL This is false in my case. Even at my heaviest, I was a very clean person. Maybe a little clutter on the kitchen table (coupons, mail, etc), but never filth. :) I am as clean now as I was back then.

curvy is exactly what you described and i'm happy to say i am also that shape. ;) i have a relatively small waist in comparison to my hips (14 inch difference last time i checked). i like my shape. someone plus sized or not can be considered curvy... it's a body shape. not a weight. ;)

mmm.... bacon. i think we'll make bacon and eggs for breakfast tomorrow... or BLTs for lunch.
-
^ that. My husband hasn't treated me differently. He married me at 270lbs. He still loves me and treats me the same at 177. ;)
-
Can I say without sounding like a weirdo... Your butt is much nicer!! LOL You look fabulous!
-
My husband isn't extremely hairy, but what hair he does have bothers him (not enough to shave it though... just to trim it up in the areas that get a little wild). It doesn't bother me one bit. It wouldn't bother me if he were hairier either. I actually really like the weekends when his face is scruffy because he doesn't…

I do p90x... So my other workouts are also strength based. I just have a weak core so I am adding planks as well. Plus, it gives me and my husband something to do together since he refuses to workout with me (he's in the Army and does PT every morning and doesn't feel the need to workout with me).
-
I don't know, but I joined a "challenge" so to speak to do 60 mins worth of planks in the month of September. I'll tell ya how it works out. LOL I'm 6 mins in (today will make 8). I can feel a variety of different muscles working while in that position. I don't do it as my only workout though. I am doing it to…

I'm 93lbs lighter than my DL says I am and 2lbs lighter than my military ID says I am. :) I need to change my DL though. haha The picture is updated, but I didn't look to see if they fixed the weight the last time I was in there. Oh well.
-
I'd also like to add this. My husband is super supportive of my weight loss/healthy lifestyle, but he is blunt and has hurt my feelings. Recently he said "I don't want to see you reach 200lbs again". Yes, this hurt my feelings a little. Why? Because the man married me at 270lbs so in a way I wanted to say "why does it…

If she's already doing all of this, she sounds like an amazingly healthy and fit woman. I wouldn't flat out tell her what you'd like her to change, but like you said just train with her on the triathlon and focus on that. :)
-
nah. i see ya! :D welcome welcome! i post stuff and nobody responds either. it happens. :)

I wear very little makeup when I do decide to wear it at all. Maybe a little powder, mascara, and lipgloss and to be honest when I do wear it and I feel like I'm wearing a lot, I get asked "do you have makeup on? I can't tell." *sigh* Apparently I either suck at putting it on or I'm great at it. haha AND I go out every…

wow! you look absolutely wonderful! so healthy and beautiful! congrats!

like a big mac... mmm... i think they're like 1,300 calories? LOL

realizing if i just sit around it won't help me reach my goals any faster.

I used Yaz for the last year and a half (almost 2 years) and had no side effects. I don't feel like it made me gain weight... I was steadily losing even after starting it. I recently began having some problems (I haven't been regular since the beginning of the year, but other than having periods lasting ungodly amounts of…

only coffee for me then! :D
