I tried most of them, but I much prefer the Bluefin Software one. Good luck, I finished C25k a few months ago and its awesome.

Well , I dont think I can describe myself as a "lovely lady" but feel free to add me some support if you want to. Good luck and welcome

I forgot to say, its a good idea to try and find a group here on MFP that are starting C25K at about the same time as you and join that as the support makes all the difference. Theres usually new groups starting quite regularly.

+1 for C25K I finished it a few months ago and it really works. I went from stuggling to run for 2 minutes to running 5k (30 mins +) easily every other day. As said, invest in a good pair of properly fitted shoes though as its quite hard on the legs. If you have an ipod/iphone there`s a few good apps for c25k too. Good…

Hi from Hertfordshire :flowerforyou:

I finished c25k a few months back after using the app. I'm now running 5k every other day and sometimes more, which is'nt bad for a 45 year old ex heavy smoker who used to be well into the obese catagory  Its amazing how quickly you improve if you stick with the plan. When I started, I really struggled with running…

Hi I'm just down the road in Hemel Hemptead  Have sent an invite

Awesome well done! How did you find your run after taking a break? I'm currently on a 2 to 3 week break due to a strained muscle and I'm getting a bit worried it will put my progress back. I did get as far as b210k week 2 but I'm planning to go back to the 30 minute runs for a while when I start up again.

Try and only weigh yourself once a week too if you can. Your weight can fluctuate wildly due to water weight etc and can be discouraging if you weigh in every day. Once a week makes it far easier to see the general trend.

Hey well done, thats awesome!! And a very respectable time too :drinker: :flowerforyou: I've managed to strain a calf muscle so I'm having to rest for a couple of weeks which I guess will set me back a bit. Really looking forward to getting going again tho.

I think theres a couple here http://www.c25k.com/ Scroll to near the bottom to the "After C25K; 10k and Beyond" Section

Well done for finishing and I'm glad you're feeling better now :drinker: I did start b210k and got as far as week two but I managed to pick up an injury so I'm having a few days off now and then going back to 30 minute runs for a bit as I think I may have pushed a bit fast. Good luck and congratulations again

I'm going to stop b210k for a while I've decided. I'm getting a few too many pains in my legs and knees that I wasnt getting before, and while I can do the runs ok, I think I might be pushing it a bit too quickly so I'm back to the 30 minute runs for a bit to give it time to adjust properly  Well done all…

Fluctuating that much can only be water weight I reckon. I know if I slack with the water it can affect what the scales say too. I wouldn't worry too much about it and as the above poster says, maybe try and weight yourself once a week as its far easier to see the general trend that way. Good luck

Well done for finishing, thats awesome  :drinker: I`m just about to go and do W2D3 of b210k which is going really well. I`ve signed up for a 10k in London in July so thats giving me a lot of incentive to keep going right now. After b210k .. well one of my life's ambitions is to run the London Marathon which I've…

I do if I'm hungry and I dont if I'm not  It doesn't seem to make a great deal of difference either way for me.

I'm on week 2 of b210k and loving it  Good luck

If you plan on doing a lot of running, its well worth going to a proper running shop and getting them to analyse the way you run and sorting you out with the right pair as it makes all the difference. I see you`re in Coventry so I guess the "Up n Running" store in Birmingham wouldnt be too far away from you.…

Congratulations :flowerforyou: Well done on finishing, feels great huh? These last few weeks have gone really fast but here's hoping we can all keep going for a while yet and continue with b210k. Well done everyone :drinker:
