i'm here cheering you on!!! and fyi...i have successfully gotten to within 10/12 pounds of my goal weight (still working on it, but down over 55 pounds) and i don't go by the rule of not eating after 7. when you don't eat, your body starts to go into hibernation. hibernation for the body means not losing weight. when your…

i personally can't due to an issues i have with getting over stimulated and not being able to sleep. however it you find it works for you, then great. i want to note that you were only on the elliptical for 20 minutes instead of your typical hour plus. is this going to be enough of a workout for you? if not, i would…

well said. and compared to a bagel or crackers, they are lower in calories, not processed, full of vitamins and have fiber. you can't beat fruit. if you want a low calorie snack, eat 20 raw carrots, half of a cucumber, raw red or green peppers, steamed broccoli, strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries. not what we grew…

yes, it is possible. i can gain 3 pounds in a day or two with eating out or poor choices. "vacation" from a healthy lifestyle can be very discouraging. pick yourself up. dust yourself off. be kind to yourself and make good choices. cheering you on! Jane

my go to for when i am "starving" are my raw carrots, red peppers and almonds (limit mine to 20) i find that if i eat low fat, my body just doesn't do as well and the scales don't move as easily. for me, i do not give up everything. choose your snacks/favorite foods wisely. plan for them in your eating plan. but don't let…

doing my push ups on the ball will work my core too. i NEED to work on that area, but don't want to over extend myself and not be able to keep up with 2 challenges. i will commit to doing two ab routines every week! (which i have not been good at doing this past month.)

i quit smoking 11.5 yrs ago when doing a Bible based weight loss program. never went back to the smokes. did return to my emotional eating...which is why i am working on going down again. my Husband used Chantex (sp?). 3 weeks into the script and he go a bug. nothing would stay in his system, so he stopped the meds,…

are you eating enough. how much below are you eating? if you don't eat 1200 calories, your body will go into starvation mode and you will not lose or possibly gain. if you are eating below 1200 calories and exercising, you are not getting enough food. you also need to eat a well balanced diet. fruits and vegetables are a…

a couple things: KNOW your why. know why you want to lose weight. what is your motivator? read something positive. find a sports enthusiast (coach/player/athlete of some kind) that has written a book and read it. read positive writings. (i LOVE following Chalene Johnson on Twitter and FB....short reads that keep me going…

GREAT JOB! you look great. and yes, those last few pounds are typically tough. i don't know what your typically workouts consist of, but try something totally different for the next 2 months. the muscle confusion will help you to kick those last few pounds in the behiney. you need to share your story in as many places as…

i have two go to breakfast meals available at all times. either an omelet (1 whole egg and 2 egg whites with veggies) or my morning Shakeology shake from Beachbody (the folks that sell p90x, Insanity, Turbo Jam, and many more workouts) the shake is my favorite with coffee, pumpkin, cinnamon and almond milk. i save almost…
