I read the article, and I know I want to change my stride, I just don't know how. My husband runs with a midfoot strike, but I just can't get the hang of it. Maybe because I'm so uncoordinated? Meh.

If you already have a bike, look into getting a trainer to put your bike on. They are small and fairly inexpensive.

My husband doesn't come in to bother me, but he does kinda lear at me. I'm sure I don't look all sexy running with my hair everywhere and sweating like a pig, but he sure thinks so.

I do 'You Are Your Own Gym' 4 times a week, although I do double up on some days and I run 3x a week.

Yup!!

You logged it which makes you awesome in my book. <<hugs>>

It's a type of squash that when cooked looks similar to spaghetti. Easy to cook (microwave) and fairly yummy.

Derailing thread: Jacksmom12, is that Jack in your pic? He's adorable! Back to thread: OP: I'm down to a size 4-6 and can't even imagine being lower. Could you be a size 0 someday? Maybe. Stick around, eat healthy below your TDEE, exercise and you might find out.

^^This. My 'goal' weight has changed at least three times since I started. If it makes you happy, pick a number and work towards it, then re-evaluate when you get there.

Me! Me! Love quiche!

Mine is similar to this but substitute wine for beer. :drinker:

I substitute protein powder for flour often, but I usually don't go more than 1/2 the flour in the recipe. I also substitute cottage cheese (make it creamy in a blender) for milk and/or oil in a recipe.

I like the red dress from the pic above.

How can you possibly function with only 500 calories a day? I eat that before 10AM. I agree with the prevous posters, eat at least 1200 calories NET a day. Or better yet, check out the roadmap threads and eating at your TDEE.

She also has kids and is an adult. You act as if 31 is a child still. I had my hysterectomy two years ago and it was the best thing I ever did, no more periods, no more pain! It was a difficult recovery, but I actually lost weight during that time, I wasn't hungry and I slept a lot. Good luck!

My husband snores less than when he was heavier, but he still snores when he's very tired.

I know this thread is about thighs (and I love mine, and yours by the way) but those shoes ROCK! Love them!

You can always take a 'cheat' day, and get gack at it tomorrow. If I know I am going to be in a place where I will want to eat a lot, I will run that morning to off-set the extra calories.

I am in awe of you. Seriously. Well Done!! Amazing!
-
You ALWAYS make me laugh!

^ This. Then I would take the trash out immediately.

Search the forums for colon cleanse. But the correct answer is DON'T DO IT. That might not be the answer you want, however.

You know you ROCK, right?! :drinker:

I don't log the seasonings my husband uses on the grilled chicken. I don't log mustard or pickles usually. I count most liquids as water, whether they are flavored water, tea or diet soda. (with the exception of coffee) I don't log the occasional piece of candy I snag from my kids. Evidently I've done ok not logging all…
