Oooh, add this to my comment. Having my daughter is what made me change in the first place! I grew up learning all my bad habits and was the fat kid at school. I'm getting active and eating right so my daughter will... So really, her excuse is really the reason why she should be doing it in the first place...

I have a young daughter and a husband who only ever wants pizza. Trust me, it doesn't matter. You only have excuses if you let yourself have excuses. Looks like she was just trying to make herself feel better for not making the changes she needs to make.

This is a compliment I rarely pull out, but when I say it, I mean exactly what I say. I'm proud of you. It takes determination and hard work to lose weight and I would be proud of someone close to me putting in the work to acheive it. Just like I would be proud of my sister graduating a high end university or someone…

I see my cals burned as a cushion, if I'm hungry, I'll have an extra snack/meal, if I'm not, I don't worry about it too much. I also used to eat way past the point of full so now I refuse to eat just to meet a number. If you're really worried, just pick up some nuts and eat them as a snack, high cal to help with the…

In a Deity? None. Sheer determination and faith in myself = All my success so far.

Any time I feel like eating junk, I try to get refocused and motivated. I talk to my husband about how I'm feeling and I hit up the success boards. I have junk in my house because my husband eats it and sometimes its hard. Making myself refocus can really help though.

Holy crap that image is scary.

Yup. Im fat because of how much crap I used to eat. I carry most of it on my legs hips and bum because of genetics.

I can touch my nose with my tongue, I absorb music and commercials ridiculously well and remember them forever. THIS ONE WILL TOP ALL! My mom regenerates!! She cut off the tip of her big toe at work, after a few months of healing she noticed she had a bump growing off her toe... Her body was GROWING ANOTHER TOE to replace…

Oh! I got the "Hey There" nod and smile from a guy who slowed down while I was on my walk the other day. I missed that nod, lol, first time since I was a few months pregnant, lol.

Starting the Butt Bible today after some TaeBo... Wish me luck!

I'd be willing to bet quite a bit on it just being the carb cutting that's causing the loss. Just another fad diet that will eventually fade out to be replaced with six new ones. What you're doing is the way to get it off and take it off! Sometimes it can be hard to ignore their grand promises, I know :frown:

Amen sister!! "We've discovered the secret to life... Butter." It's the same with those 100 cal bags of little oreo imitators... When 1 oreo only has 55 cals! If you're gonna have it, go real! Plus, real tastes better, fills you longer, and is much better by way of chemicals. *Not to say Oreos are real food... Just as…

I still eat Subway pretty regularly... My 6 inch cold cut ends up being about 370 cals and fills me for a loooong time. Its my go to convenience meal/treat. For a former McD's addict, I think thats pretty good! lol Though, I'm not watching my sodium. If I was, there'd be no way, lol.
-
Even though its pretty commonly known, every time I'm walking down the freezer aisle, it KILLS me the sodium in those little Lean Cuisine type meals! I'm not watching my sodium, but damn! Shocked how low-cal it was: Air popped popcorn! Yay for a new favourite snack!

We have a 2009 Kia Rio5 (hatchback) and its definitely an awesome little car. We use it to drive about 100kms a day (commute), and its definitely doing its job. The mileage cant be beat either, even driving that much, we use about a tank a week, which here is about $45 a week. It doesn't have tons of power so if you're…
