  • I do the same, not intentionally but I don't eat lunch until 1 and have a smoothie after the gym at 8-8:30 and don't eat again until the next day. I have lost 3 of my 2 year old daughter and am going strong!
  • This has happened so much over the past few weeks, even had a lady argue with me whether or not I had weight loss surgery!
  • He needs a muzzle, he asked you your opinion about the food you were both about to eat and found it necessary to make a comment about your weight? What an AZZ!
  • Believe me I know where you are coming from. Even after 96 lbs gone my thighs are the absolute last place to lose the weight. It WILL happen, don't give up on yourself. Your body choses to lose the weight where it chooses, you can't target a certain area first. Keep telling yourself how good you will look when you are at…
  • Very well said
  • Hey, you are losing, be thankful for that. Mix up your routine, seems like your body is getting used to the program you have it on. The secret is to keep your body confused and it won't think this is the new normal.
  • Of all the things you could be craving Frozen Yogurt is NOT BAD! If you are still craving it later today, I would let yourself have a little indulgence, it will not kill you, I promise!
  • I myself go straight from work, I don't wear make-up at all, so that is not a problem, but I do wear shorts and an old t-shirt and throw my hair up. I am not there to impress anyone, I am there to better myself and my body
  • Having a baby is what started my weight transformation and I went from a 38 DD and now I am currently a 34 inbetween a D and DD. I got very lucky and didn't lose my boobs first like I hear all the time. After 96 lbs they will obviously lose some volume. They look almost deflated now and I would really like to get a lift…
  • I would be very flattered if someone approached me at the gym. If I were single, that is pretty much the only place you will find me in public during the week. I have an hour and a half time limit on child care and I have my routines planned out each day and have to attack it in the right order to get it all in. If we are…
  • Of course, you can definately do that! Christmas is 5 months and 1 day away, that is 10 lbs a month which is 1 lb every 3 days, completely possible if you are dedicated! You have to WANT IT
  • THIS^^^
  • I am doing my first Mud Run August 11th. I am nervous about it but I have lost 96 lbs in 12 1/2 months and if I can do that I can do anything. I have been training hard doing intervals on the elliptical, stair treadmill, and bike, my legs are in super shape now and I can't wait!
  • Believe me, I understand you plight. I plateaued for 3 MONTHS! I HATED looking at the scale every morning and seeing 200 over and over and over again. That doesn't mean that your efforts are wasted or you aren't getting anything out of your hard work, it just means your body has adjusted to what you are doing as the new…
  • You look at yourself everyday, of course you won't see suttle changes as fast as everyone else will. I don't think I genuinely saw a change in myself until about 80 lbs lost. It will take a while and then your lightbulb will suddenly turn on and you will realize how much you have changed and your confidence will soar!…
  • I will definately tighten up. It may take a little longer, because that is where you stored all of your fat so obviously it will come off last, but you will get there. Focus on toning and one day you will realize it has disappeared.
  • Good for you! Feel free to add me if you need any support, congrats on your upcoming nuptuals!
  • First, to make your mental self feel better, you can go into the check-in section and enter your starting weight and date so your ticker says the right amount. I had to do that and surprisingly it made me feel a lot better about my progress. Secondly, change up your routine, when your body gets complacent it thinks that…
  • Mowing the grass, riding my horse, cleaning. Pretty much anything that doesn't feel like exercise but still burning cals.
  • What is your starting weight? I started at 270 with a goal of losing 100 lbs and have lost 91.2 lbs and the only excess skin I have is from having a baby on my tummy. If you are worried about it you can use oil of olay firming lotion or some type of product to add more elastin to your skin, but you shouldn't have a…
  • The fact that I am not quoting the medical journal has nothing to do with no "sound medical advice" I by any means am nowhere near anorexic, 178 lbs is NOT anorexic. I was going by YOUR definition to show you how barbaric your reasoning is. Just because I don't eat 1,587 cals a day does not mean I am harming myself. My…
  • He did it for over 18 months and was just fine. I by no means have fasted, but have not eaten anywhere close to my BMR for over a year, so by your argument I am anorexic and about to die from organ failure
  • Read the journal entry about the man who fasted for 18 months, lost a ton of weight and kept it off after starting to eat again, there is just the study you are asking for. Eating below the BMR is just fine, the body actually adjusts better. I never eat anywhere near my BMR and have been doing just fine for over a year.…
  • I'm 5'8" and my goal is between 160 and 170. I have a huge bone structure and lots of muscle, so if you are anything like me you will look emaciated anything lower than that. Feel free to add me and take a look at my pictures
  • When I first started I felt like my goal was so far off it was almost unattainable. 100 lbs seemed like such a huge mountain in front of me, but every time I stepped on the scale and got that tiny bit closer I chipped away at my goal and got more motivated. The scale will naturally fluctuate, believe me I've seen it…
  • I work out at night, helps me sleep and it is the only time I can, child care at my gym doesn't open until 8 and I have to be at work at 8. I go after work around 6:30 until 8ish. There is a better selection of classes then as well. If I went in the morning I would have to drag my daughter there (which she wouldn't be…
  • Well there is your answer, carpet takes weight off because it sinks into it instead of reading your weight accurately. Sorry to say you are actually 114 and have to work it off again! Good luck!
  • Is it on carpet, hard wood floor, linolium (however you spell it), or any other type of surface? Moving from one surface to another makes a difference on how the scale reads your weight. Make sure your battery isn't low and the surface hasnt changed and the scale should be reading accurately. Does it go back to 109 when…
