I do not, however, i have a few ideas of what you COULD do: Take a bite BEFORE giving it to them if you REALLY want some. Then when they're done, you can tell yourself you've 'already had some.' Throw it away. Make dad eat it. ;) Usually the last one happens regardless. If you feel like you're wasting food, you're(the…

LOL! I have a sister like that... Kini--just make sure they have the proper credentials. :) I suggest checking out http://www.evelyntribole.com/ -- She has a book and a plan called 'intuitive eating' which is about listening to your body when you're truly hungry. Also a mother of a 7 week old here and in the same situation. Due to my background in dietetics, I can tell you that BFing should only cause a weight loss of 1-4lbs a month. The scale will move--give it patience. Also, make sure you're eating enough so that is DOES move.

Also, working in a busy hospital, you may be cramming your food in as fast as possible, seeing as you get very busy some nights.

It will most definitely mess up your metabolism--no doubt about it. Registered Dietitians, members of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics would NEVER advise under 1,200. You're starving your body now and if you ever stop, the weight will come back ferociously. And it will be harder than ever to lose.

It should be basing this off of your activity level and not how much extra weight you're carrying. You need calories to build muscle. When your lean muscle is in place, it will burn FAR more calories than you think. It's necessary to keep the metabolism rolling by eating. When you reduce calories too drastically, your body…
