Nope, everybody's yard is flat and the same size. Nope, everybody is the same. We're all here for the same reason. DYEMFP? Don't Stop Believin'
-
That sounds ideal.
-
Sure, bring your mower. We'll get the yards cut, log it, and then eat back all the calories.

Nope, doesn't count. You really did not burn anything.
-
I think the thread has morphed... What is better for cardio work, cardio or strength training?
-
Breathing should be included in your BMR. Am I correct in that statement? srs.
-
I may take a walk on lunch break in honor of this thread, just so I can log Walking, 2.5 mph, leisurely pace. Definitely wouldn't consider it "exercising" however it would contribute to my daily calorie allotment. Might not even change clothes to do it.
-
ditto, minus the 100 degree part.
-
You don't mow everyday?
-
Why would I message you about your exercise habits? They have zero effect on mine. Glad we're not friends. I would hate to be unfriended for logging "exercises" you deem un-worthy.
-
What ever activity, exercise. craptivity you do log, if it fits and contributes to your goals, who gives a turd what others consider it.
-
I don't call cooking, cleaning, or mowing "exercise." I would consider them activities. What is your stance on people who log walking as their "exercise" of choice? I personally don't call it exercise, but certainly an activity which burns calories, more calories, than the activity "not walking." Also, you do sound…

It takes me 2.5 hours to push mow my lot, not counting trimming out before hand. Dang right I'm logging it (only half what MFP recommends btw, as previously stated). I do it once a week. Definitely not an everyday thing. Do I say "I'm going to workout, be back in a couple hours?", no, but I do still log it as calories…
-
Total lack. It's only considered a workout if you say to yourself, "Self, this is a workout...begin."
-
Make it one difficult payment of $60 and by God you got yourself a deal!
-
Where can I get some of this willpower? Got any I could have?
-
I log lawn mowing. I only log half of what MFP recommends. For 2 hours I will only log 1, etc. Oddly enough, I do not log strength training sessions. I consider those "bonus burns"
-
Lol. I am having a great deal of trouble wrapping my head around weight gain while in a deficit.
-
On a 100% serious note (because I too have gained since being put on celexa), how was your intake ratio during the gaining process? Calories in vs. Calories out. I am curious to know, btw I am at the 6 month point.
-
I don't eat near as much fast food as I used to and have magically put on about 15 lbs since my lowest weight about a year ago. Must be over consumption IDK.
-
I used to eat Mcdonalds or Bojangles every morning at my old job, and then usually McD's, Subway, or Arby's for lunch. That is all... Oh, I lost 63 lbs. while doing so.
-
Congratulations! I too never thought that I would be a runner, but C25K took me there. Great program!

Bump

Why does my boss need $75k when all I have is $29K? My point, which was missed by my lack of sarcastic font, is that it's nobody's place to say how much is enough. A poster above asked what anyone could possibly need a billion dollars for. If I want what he has I should maybe consider going back to school for a BS then…
-
That's triple my salary. Is all that money really necessary?
-
No but strongly wish I was. Go Vols!
-
Why does someone need $100k?
-
That pretty much...scratch that. That sums it up.

I was very close to bowing out of the thread, but I am glad I stuck around. Speaking to others with different opinions is the best way to learn, and may solve something eventually.
