  • scale is up there on the top of my list too. love my blender bottles too since unlike other shaker type bottles these I get zero clumps in and it saves me from dragging out the blender. (ours is a pain to clean)
  •
  • Keep this one bumped up!
  • Well.... to answer the new thread question... IF I just keep logging and doing as I have at the rate I am on I'll be down it by 1/30. That is 3 months. However, since I"m back in the gym now I expect that may change. We're the same height, I read the other thread...however I've got different goals and a good bit more to…
  • Who cares what they think! You're doing this for You, not for Them. That said, if you go to the original location and anyone says anything.... you said it best yourself.. "at least for now, I just need a simple, easy workout that will keep me coming back until I get comfortable/confident enough to push myself?" Way to go…
  • Lots of great info here. Please feel free to add me too for support if you like! I can't recommend weighing food enough. I have to do it again and document with pictures since I Just did this to a family member that says the measuring cup vs the scale is the exact same, and it just isn't. I used rice and it was pretty…
  • Ok I feel better lol. Friend of mine went to hers today and actually had someone sneeze on her, say nothing, and still not clean their area so I guess it's more common. yuk. Going to just adopt the clean it before and after routine now so I feel better. Sad but I'd rather do that then get sick!
  • C25k is a great program. Never tried 30 day shred though.
  • Am so sorry you're stressed right now. Praying you can find a small bit of peace and get the rest you need. Thinking of you both <3 <3 <3
  • However many that person decides to have is enough. Not my place to judge. I have 6. None show in jeans & a tee and didn't show in uniform when I was active duty unless you counted pt shorts. So for me that works. Will I add more? Maybe... maybe not.
  • ^^^This this this. Also from the emotional/stress eating standpoint, I WILL binge if I am restricting too much. Or if I skip a meal 2 days in a row or am under one day and then skip... it happens. I think the bigger thing is to forgive yourself and allow the pancakes. If you're feeling guilty can you get a shorter stack?…
  • Would recommend if you're able to cook ahead and pre-portion to try that. I do a flat of chicken breasts (7-8 lg ones) in the oven with a little olive oil at 375 for 30-35 mins. I I put Mrs Dash on some and the others might get a little bit of salt & pepper and that's about it. Gets me through a week even if someone else…
  • Starting Weight - 192.4 Current Weight - 190.8 Goals this week... at least 3x at the gym. in addition to my trainer session on Monday Keep on with my logging. Tugten I am so sorry for your loss =( Thinking of you and your family
  • I'm down 1.6lbs more. Puts me at 60.8 lbs out from my "high end" of my goal weight range. Did get my gym membership early so I'm hoping to have around half the weight off for my birthday if not more. I have to just suck it up and go. Of course today I'm at a stall waiting on a furniture delivery so there will be no gym…
  • Stress is a killer. So first step, forgive yourself for the backslide and start going forward and not letting history repeat anymore. You CAN do this.
  • Great idea for folks that are more visual. It's hard to focus on the "I am doing the right thing" sometimes. Great job
  • Anyone? The more programs out there the more it seems like this supplement or that one so it's be nice to see folks here that have had success or found it a waste. Also unsure if I'd even do well on the old regimen with this much to lose. My time is more limited for the gym so I can at best do 4-5 hours a week. Its a lot…
  • Unless you run out and get liposuction in just that area you're just going to have to be patient. Wouldn't be called "working out" if it wasn't work. So just stick with a program and be really mindful of deficit. I know we all want faster results but we didn't gain or get out of shape overnight so it takes time to undo the…
  • Yep I logged too! And know what? It felt good =) wasn't as horrible as I thought it would be and that makes me feel better!
  • Feel free to add me too folks! I've got an accountability group that's just starting if anyone needs a push to keep checking in or setting short term goals to get in a routine!
  • Mine is like most here, to make that goal weight range. I'd like to compete in November so I've set up mini goals along the way like a 5k in June to keep me going on the weight loss portion so after June I can be training. I split everything into phases really so I can just focus on small bits so I don't overwhelm myself…
  • If you're hungry... eat..... There's no magic time or number of meals a day because we're all different. you mentioned "Seemed to be" when talking about caloric intake so my question would be are you weighing food? or just using the eyeball method or measuring cups/spoons.
  • Mine was down to 185 so I'm about 6 off after a 1lb regain and some female issues I'm not exactly there. I could blame a ton of things but honestly I am looking at the 17lbs I've lost and the inches that Are gone instead of what isn't. Going to just continue to do what I am doing and I will reach my goals. It's plausible…
  • Found a really nice cleaner from Julep that's been a saving grace in the winter when I tend to dry out a little. Would recommend them highly!
  • Yes. Logging what you're eating on the positive times should carry over to all the time. I think calling it a "cheat" and hiding it (by not logging) sets you up to guilt yourself and keeps a negative relationship with food going. I log it... If I'm over, I'm over and I don't punish myself.
  • Wishing you the best of luck with surgery and a wonderful recovery. Simply amazing progress and I can't wait to see even more updates from you. Well done!
  • SW (12/1) - 192.6 GW (3/1) - 160 12/10: 193.6 12/15: 193.6 12/23: 192.4 (ttom) Battled off the weight spike but I'm not happy with my progress. I know I am down inches overall and that improves my mood but I want to see more reflected on that scale. We got the new power cord in for the xbox so at the very least I am going…
  • Starting Weight - 192.4 Exercise goals - be consistent. min of 30 mins daily exercise that doesn't fall into a cleaning area Personal goals - mini goal: to keep watching inches and track them end game goal: to be down at least 2 pant sizes and to beat out the 15# and make it to 175 because I like even numbers =)
  • I like the stuff too. It's one of those to each their own things to me to be honest... family gags when I pull out my soy milk but I Really like that and prefer to drink it instead of skim..... which I use in cereal and coffee.
