packaged foods/stuff in cans = sodium avoid or get low sodium products and you're good. I've also been tracking my sodium because it can get out of hand very quickly. I look at the content of calories and sodium in everything that I eat.

A full mile for me is around 10.5 minutes, so half mile would be a little over 5 minutes.

I did my first 5K in August, and my time was 35 minutes. I still average a 10.5-11 minute mile, but I'm not really going for speed. I enjoy running, I'm still working on my endurance, so I do what I can! :) Congrats on your first!

If I take a bite of something, and I KNOW it isn't worth the calories, I throw it away. If I'm going to eat something that is high in calories it's going to be DELICIOUS and worth every single bite!! I choose what I eat very carefully now! :)

I LOVE to cook. I honestly get most of my ideas from Pinterest. I plan out my meal list for the week while on the Pinterest food boards. We don't eat the same thing twice in 3-4 weeks. I'm always making new recipes!!!! If you don't have an account, you should definitely check it out. Millions of ideas on there.

I also get the shakes if I don't eat for a long period of time. I plan my day in the morning. I plan food for every, at least, 2 hours throughout the day until dinner. Make sure you're making choices that will fit into your day. Try planning in the morning... that helps me. Then I can alter as I go if something changes. I…
