  • Well.......CONGRATULATIONS!!!! You're doing great! .....re: the flat abs I'd sure like to know myself! I know the exercises are essential....but even within 10 of my goal I still have a pooch that is exercise resistant. I think the exercises have to be REALLY targeted and even then????? Good luck on your continued…
  • Wow!!!! that really is control! Nachos are one of my fave's and I can't even go NEAR them without overdoing.....of course the REAL thing....not the canned sauce type. I've avoided cheese altogether for a month now because portion control is a HUGE issue for me! Congratulations!

Here's my checking etc: Height = 5'2" Weight= 135.9  (See what I learned) Haven't exercised yet today but plan on an afternoon workout..I walk my dog every morning for 20-30 minutes but I don't count that. Yesterday I did a 51 minute 3 mile walk DVD and 30 minute Pilate workout. What I've learned  I…
  • mmmm.....I like the no fudge pudge brownies too and I'm not even a chocolate OR sweet lover. My biggest problem is BREAD, cheese, BREAD, butter, BREAD, rice, and BREAD  I try to limit my bread etc, but when I have a setback, its usually a spiralling carbo craze! I love this site though because it really keeps me…

  • I'd like to join you too! I've been weighing in on Mondays with my husband....but its discouraging when he loses 3 lbs for every 1 of mine! ......I need some female support to keep motivated for that last 10 pounds. My original goal is within 7 pounds......but 10 pounds would be where I was at my ideal weight (many…

  • So I'm not the ONLY one!!!! :blushing: My doctor also says if every 3-4 days is regular for me then its "regular" and not to worry....but my hubby still thinks I'm weird! I sometimes take sugarfree Citrucil in the mornings and that helps as long as you keep up the water consumption too! Uncle Sam's cereal (lots of flax) is…
  • Well.....I'm no expert but let me share my experience and my husband's. We started out with the Alli program when we joined MFP last month. Neither of us has experienced any of the nasty "treatment effects", but we a both very careful about keeping our fat levels within the recommended levels. I have not had the same…
  • I know its hard to ignore when people are intentionally rude......and just saying ignore it because you're better than stooping to that level is a hard road to take. I think you are right though in that she probably has her own issues and is trying to make herself feel better by attacking others (you're probably not the…
  • I was really depressed today too! Today was weigh-in and I only lost .4 pounds (not enough to even show on the ticker!)....I thought I would feel better by measuring but NO change this last week. I ALMOST blew it at lunch but my honey/hubby talked me out of it and my best friend/neighbor talked me into joining her for an…
  • :flowerforyou: I made this two nights ago and it was FABULOUS!!! My husband wanted it over rice, but I put my serving on a hamburger roll......BOTH very delicious and a definite "do-over" for later. Thanks!
  • I made one that my husband asks for repeats: 1cup lite mayo 1 tsp salt 4Tbsp splenda 1/4 tsp dry mustard 1/4 tsp celery seed 2 tbspp cidar vinegar 1/2 cup water (or more if you need to thin the dressing) Mix the dressing and use 1/4 cup for each : 3 cups shredded cabbage. I add either 1 chopped apple or grapes to the…
  • Yum Yum!!! This sounds great! ......and a nice change (getting tired of chicken!) Thanks!
  • I struggled with that for quite some time until I found a post under the TECH support section of the Community message board. There's a LOT of good information and help in the message boards when you start to explore it! Good luck!
  • tHANKS! THAT LOOKS REALLY YUMMY....AND I LOVE HAVING THE PICTURE!
  • Congratulations!!!!! Its good to hear and I like the suggestion to slowly add in the extra calories. That way, besides fooling your bodies metabolism.....you can track your weight sanely without having to freak out over any potential relapse! Good work!
  • We made this for tonight's dinner and IT WAS FABULOUS!!!! Thanks so much! Yum Yum!!!:flowerforyou:
  • The online computer gives the option of with or without cart.....so that is cool; but the time designation is what throws me off.....and as for the heart rate monitor, that might be the way to go if it gives an accurate reading throughout the game, adjusting for the non-activity times. I'll look into that thanks!
  • Thanks!.....Living in Baja we've enjoyed many margaritas and I've been missing them since we've been dieting!
  • Thanks for the recipes! (both rib eyes & Margarita Shrimp). We (my husband & I) are retired and living in San Felipe (Baja Mex) and just started using myfitnesspal Monday. I've gotten so lazy in the kitchen, and have gotten into the habit of eating out because its easy and CHEAP here. Putting together good meals that fit…
