*hugs* Thanks for understanding my POV, poorly worded and all. Next time, I understand, I must word things as if walking on eggshells in case another person as such is nearby.

25-year-old mom of a 2.5-year-old daughter. My HW (8 months pregnant) was 155, left the hospital at 145. I joined MFP at 137 and am now 118 with a GW of 110-115. Feel free to add me!

No! Beautiful lighting and pretty picture!

You did it once, you can do it again! :flowerforyou:

This. Plus, you're more likely to gain back all the weight once you start eating your BMR/maintenance level if you lose on a low-calorie diet.

Im not doing P90X (yet) but my body reacts the same way. I don't know what's wrong with my butt, but it ain't getting more toned! LOL. Everything else goes first for me too. My butt is definitely smaller, but I'm still waiting for it to.. you know..

Stationary bike is a common go-to for non-impact cardio. Swimming is another great option.

For people who need to upspeed their weight loss and are starting at your weight range, they usually do a very short LCD of 1200/day with moderate exercise. Too much exercise is 5 days a week? NOPE! You're doing great tehre. Don't give up. How long do you stick with the Eat More to Lose Weight? Or the BMR eating? If you…

I wouldn't follow the advice of anyone on here quite yet, as you've been directed by a doctor and dietician to eat a certain way and certain amount. If you're uncomfortable or confused about not eating your BMR (because yes, typically we should always eat our BMR), you need to ask your physician first

Well done! Amazing even in the first pictures you can really see a difference with even 'just' 30lbs difference. You were beautiful then, but you're beautiful now too. Congrats and keep up the good work! How inspirational :):flowerforyou:

0. Well, my SIL is on here but I wouldn't count her as she is family and they're obligated LOL. But other than that, 0. A few have offered to meet if we're ever in the same part of the world, but honestly it's a bit hard when you get on better with others in differing countries LOL

When I need some healthy, clean culinary inspiration I dive onto Pinterest's health board, skinnytaste.com (FABULOUS recipe database for those watching their weight -- the eggplant parm is AWESOME), and I begin Googling whatever i'm craving. If i want pizza, I try to make a healthier version of that the next week from a…

Depends on your overall goal. Are you just trying to lose weight, or is this a lifestyle change? If you're just trying to lose weight, a bit of a "binge" won't hurt. Actually, I doubt that you're small enough (I mean by height and bone structure) that 1200 is your BMR, so your body will probably be ecstatic to eat at your…

I had about 500 calories left today and just wasn't hungry either. BUT, kudos for trying to meet your goal anyway! Never think that a fast food burger is the solution. Just because we wake to a new day tomorrow and 1200+ calories new... doesn't mean we can go out and eat a whole pizza for breakfast and be okay. We are what…

I LOVE Chobani's vanilla. I use it for smoothies, with breakfast (muesli, berries, raisins, chia seeds), and want to try to substitute different baking things with it to make baked goods healthier :) My daughter loves the Chobani with fruit on the bottom.

Morebean, thank you for putting it more eloquently than I could. Whenever I run across such pure hatred emanating from another person I tend to get tongue-tied and am unable to properly word a response Firstsip, just because you feel compelled to judge me freely without knowing me doesn't mean anyone else is judging you…

I've had difficulties with this, and I think you kind of have to play with it before you realize what works for your body. For now, my BMR is somewhere around 1650. I make sure to net at least 1650, but this doesn't mean I eat back ALL my exercise calories, just some. If I don't exercise at all and eat my BMR, it's a…

I didn't mean to be offensive. What my husband meant was that it isn't attractive on women (to him) when the woman doesn't naturally have it like you and so they must literally become walking skeletons in order to obtain it. I think the meaning behind this all is getting lost. I believe the OP was targeting the girls that…

This is my first group and first challenge on MFP! (been on here for 125+ days)

Thank you, thistimeismytime :) I think she was just trolling me anyway.

LOL it is, that's why i eat it anyway. Hahahah

It means you need to eat *AT LEAST* 1900 calories a day. You're a grown man. 1200 cpd is for a tiny, tiny, tiny woman. I'm 5'0" and 25-years-old with small/medium bone structure and I can't even survive off of 1200 cpd! Please be sensible and eat what a grown man should eat 1900 cpd at LEAST. Nothing less. Your NET number…

For health & money we don't eat at fast food unless we're on the road, BUT... when we do, it's Subway. Healthy and filling! If we splurge, it's Five Guys, but I alwys get sick from all the grease.

Unless you're exceptionally short (and I mean under 4'5") and really tiny... 1,000/day will not sustain you nor will the weight loss last. Our bodies are made to go into starvation mode when we do not receive enough energy/calories. I know it sounds counterintuitive, but if you eat more (your BMR) then your body will have…

I am! I don't use any websites to help with it, other than just writing down in a notebook what the meals will be that week. I have to plan for 2 adults and a toddler, and she eats usually what we eat. I always have a few "emergency" foods on hand in case she refuses to eat what we are eating, or it's not something she can…

Body shaming? What do you mean by that? Why is my profile even relevent to you if you already find my post offensive?

Adding my two cents... Yes. There is. Maybe. Depends on your marriage. If you say it during a fight? No, but I think you know that. The fact that you're even asking means, to me, that you two have a respect for one another and know not to just blurt anything that pops in your mind. Being open, honest and having good…

I get requests from young girls a lot that have LCD (low-calore diets) and some of them that overexercise and under eat. Instead of accusing them of an ED, I usually let them know what they're doing is unhealthy by making a polite and unaccusing comment on their too-low calorie and why not enough calories/food is…
