  • Doing alright. I am still losing, however I fore see a slow down as I have lost the first 10+ but know the closer I get to my goal, it may come off slower. Doing well tracking everything and keeping tabs on my water on MFP has been such a huge help.
  • Agree, I focus on Protein mostly and then fat & calories. My protein focus helped me to loose the first 10-13 lbs steadily and so far it is the track I want to be on.
  • May look into a couple of the recipes. I want the protein, but less carbs. --- Should look into vanilla though and use to mix in various things, I bet that is good.. May not be able to replace vanilla extract but could help.
  • I looked in the mirror and saw that I was developing that second chin.. "what the heck is that? and why am I letting myself get to this point?" Those are a couple things I thought to myself.   • You are right about CO and being healthy. I don't live in the state but have friends that do and have visited quite a bit. CO residents are overall healthier in their food choices. Also exercise is always occuring. So many activities available and many people do them!

  • Many times I have put a chicken or turkey breast in the crop pot. I then eat just the meat.. It works better than lunch meat for me.   • Nacho Cheese Doritos I did not eat them often, but I am staying away from them more often as I seem to over indulge on those EVERY time I eat them. I am working on still eating certain items I like (ice cream, etc) but I eat smaller servings and lower fat versions. It helps to feed the cravings at times and keeps you sane.
  • I use the Pam with Olive Oil. I only do a light coating and it works great. It is a very small amount and does not add much for calories. Plus Olive Oil is considered a "good fat" if you look at good vs bad fats.
