Dropped so much cash last month buying a whole new wardobe. I let the one I had draw out for a really really long time. One here and there would not have helped. Basically I realized I looked like a little kid with his Dad's cloths on rofl.

Dan the man. Seriously dude we all appreciate that you make yourself available for people to ask questions. Even more that you actually answer them with thought and information that pertains to the person that is asking. Keep up being a great asset to this community.

Yay!! Me too!!

Decided! That's all I needed was someone to say it looks like I don't have much to lose lol. I just have that issue where it's hard for me to see progress. I know it's there, the numbers say it is. It's just hard to see it, time for some serious bulking. Thanks so much all of you.

And by goal to improve overall appearance I mean the appearance of specifically that chest and stomach fat. I honestly can care less about what the rest of my body looks like until all that's left doesn't bother me anymore. Although the arms/legs are lookin pretty solid now compared to before :-D

Yes, the attacks. And the repeated arguing over the same topic with no resolution. But....... that is an extremely good point. Damn internet. I'm over it.
-
Guess you missed the part about missing out on information. Ignoring you wont stop you hijacking every thread and turning from point to argument.

Twinky diet guy still made sure to drink a protein shake, vegetables, and vitamins. Just sayin, he could have been "more" healthy after the experiment.
-
I mean there is a point where it's helpful to me and it makes it so easy to tell what not to do. But sometimes it's just hard because I feel like I'm missing some good information but I just end up reading an argument.

The reason we have guns is because of greed. Technology is where it is today because the need to expand. That need leads to conflict. That conflict leads to conquest. Conquest leads to progress. Stop being fcking greedy and maybe people wont need the guns.

Lol hell ya we do! I have those days. Except I have them on purpose so that they don't randomly pop up on me. If I wait and I end up being at home I go overboard. I've had days where I have recorded well over 10000 calories. That is the only time when it's bad. I eat anything appetizing in my house until their is nothing…

I actually think they are both right. But I definitely side with Dan because he's always trying to help and someone attacks his eating more advice with eating less. I always pipe in on these arguments. I'm telling you all right now they BOTH work great. Whatever works for you man. But if you can get your head around that…

The real question is about what your muscle is going to do if you stopped on a high weight versus dropping weight to continue to exercise. While you are burning more energy at that very time. That isn't what causes the muscle gain. So ideally wouldn't stopping on the high weight cause your body to build more mass? I…
-
This is all pure speculation. Based on an idea that came to my mind while working out. Does anyone know the dynamics of how muscle breaks down and repairs? Is it possible there is a factor that can cause a muscle to be less damaged than it would have been if ending with a high weight? Say given the same amount of resources…

I think I need to make a new topic about my routine, everyone seems to have missed my point... I'll get to that after my two cents about that routine. I feel like for weight loss it is a good routine. I'm not chasing the burn to gain muscle. I'm chasing it because that's when I feel like I'm working the hardest and that's…

I guess I'm doing something wrong. At 60 lbs. I can finish 8x8. But, the first 4 sets I don't feel *kitten* for a burn. So I do 4 more. For the remaining 4 I feel a massive burn in my muscles and I have to break form to finish the last set. If I add 5-10 lbs. to that I can only do 5x5 and break form on the last set. Any…

Well I'm cutting for a little while longer until I lose all of the fat. And I workout at least 5 days a week if not 6 or 7. I really like my routine I do 5x5 arms/chest, 5x5 legs/back, stomach/run, 8x8 arms only, 8x8 legs only every monday-fri. So I do really like the routine. I switch it up a lot so that really isn't that…

I just use the number. I can't account for how much extra energy my body is burning after a resistance exercise as opposed to a cardio exercise so I just eat the HRM number and leave it at that. Works for cuts and bulks. If I'm cutting than I'm not eating over what energy is being spent from recovery. If I'm bulking the…

You can add people based on whatever bias you seem fit. Lol only people with a poor personality are going to judge you for that. I try to add people who aren't afraid to eat food, and enjoy the healthy/fit lifestyle. If you complain about having to workout you lose points in my book, just how it is. The same applies to…

I really think you just eat too little. If you want to lose weight. I have a way. I understand it's not easy, but I'm going to tell you: First, research how to calculate energy intake and expenditure correctly. From what you eat to how much you burn during exercise. Look up BMR and TDEE, they will help you so much more…

Wouldn't her friend have to be willing to take a hit to her insurance premium for that?
-
Is it possible your friend was sneaky and had a different friend go grab the laptop? Did they know the laptop was in there? To me the re-folded cloths seems like something someone who knows you would do. They likely didn't realize they didn't unfold anything. They probably thought "re"-folding the clothes would make it…

hahahhaha nice...
-
Hell ya I totally do that and I didn't even realize it. Pre-entering all your food data makes it so much easier. Also, doing that gets much easier the more you log.
-
Lol I have a feeling you are about to get attacked.
-
I just have to say. My god do I love eating a lot of food. It's so awesome what regular exercise can do for your body. You know, when you are giving it enough of a load to efficiently burn the energy you consume within a reasonable range .
-
I've lost weight both ways. No, sorry, I've lost ALOT of weight both ways. If you give your body a low set rate of fuel, it is going to adapt to that and change the way it performs based on that available energy. The result of this, your body will only burn so much energy. Now, it can only adjust so much. So, where the…

That is so awesome. It really does come down to that every time in my mind. So easy to get there too. Make it something you do and it'll become something you love. Make it something you love and it'll most definitely become something you do.

Rofl at two conversations in one thread. But anyway to give MY advice to the OP: Just for a second imagine you lose all the weight you ever wanted to lose and you are the most healthy, skinny, beautiful, whatever person in the world. What then? Are you really planning on maintaining that beautiful new body of yours with…

Lol today my boss was like "Man I already ate all my lunch I should go run now. But then I'll have to go get my stuff out of my car." I was like.... uhhh yeah that's why you brought it, so you could go get it out of the car and use it. So he tells me "I meant to bring it in with me this morning." Beat that.
