I borrowed the dvd's from a friend and fell in love with Zumba. I just ordered my own set of dvds yesterday. I can't wait to receive them! I've yet to try a live class, but I plan to in the very near future. I work at a University that offers the classes twice a week.

I had a partial hysterectomy in March 2010, and have gained about 20+ pounds since. I was already overweight, so I didn't need any extra. Now I'm working to lose all of it. Good luck to you!

I do the 2 mile walk that has the interval training mixed in. I log it under a Walking - brisk walk for 36 mins (length of dvd), and then just put the squats, lunges, bicep curls, etc under my strength training.

If you can, get your workout in first thing in the morning. That way, you've got it done before anything else "comes up" that might stop you from doing it later. Also, once you've had your workout, you might be more hesitant to eat something unhealthy because you don't want to ruin your progress. That's what works for me…
