Happy Monday everyone This weekend took my son back to Uni in Cardiff, Wales and stayed on a lovely campsite 7 miles from the city - it could have been a million miles - herons and other birds I couldn't identify (possibly egrets) and all sorts of wildlife. Next time I stay I'll have to take an eye spy book! It was only…

Hi everyone I've just uploaded my photos onto my computer and amazingly I've found a photo with me on it - so sorry I'm inflicting it on you! If you look carefully you can see that even at a party I'm wearing my fitbit ultra! I've also uploaded a couple of me with Charlie at a couple of our displays! So, it'll make a…

Well, all my good intentions went down the drain tonight! It was the first night at youth club for the year and unexpectedly we had an introductions game! I usually only go for 40 mins every week to do the registrations and then come home to cook, having tea ready for when DH comes back from doing the whole when he is on…

I love my fitbit. I have the old ultra and lost it in July, when it cracked and fell off! I found it in August and taped it back together again and it worked! One very happy me! If anyone would like to friend me on fitbit or mfp, feel free. My plan is to log everyday and try to synch the two! //www.fitbit.com/user/234Q22

Oh yes - because my little picture is one of my dogs in the snow I decided to make my ticker show one of the beaches in Pembrokeshire Wales from my summer holidays, taken from a walk along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path long distance footpath. The other of my favourite places to walk! I can't wait until the butterfly flies…

Hello again! Hope everyone has had a good weekend. We had our doodle dash on Cannock Chase today - about 35 dogs, including labradoodles, goldendoodles, cockerpoos, a shihpoo and a yorkie-poo (and my honorary dood, the springer!). As you can tell it's a meet for poodle crosses! We walk for around 1 and a half hours. One of…

Weighed myself this morning - for the first time in ages I have actually lost! Not a lot but it does make a change from the static scale I've had all summer! Just proves that logging everyday keeps me accountable in writing. I may not have lost a lot but I am again feeling so much better in myself. I have a gym ball in my…

I've started reading Made to Crave again slowly. The first time I wizzed through it (as I do most books) and then re-read it if I think it is worth it. I've found much of what I've read slowly so far very helpful and would recommend it. Worth mulling over and considering if what she concentrates on in a particular chapter…

Hello again from another warm evening in Staffordshire UK I have so enjoyed reading your posts. I realise I have to keep up or else I definitely lose the thread! I think that it's interesting being from different parts of the world. To me a gilet is a sleeveless jacket (a French word!) - Kim you called that a vest. To me a…

Hello from a very warm evening in Staffordshire in UK. Just got in from walking Charlie and it is so warm - I should have just worn a t shirt and left the gilet at home! I have walked the dogs separately today and clocked up 18500 steps! Feet won't do the 1500 to make it 20,000! Loved reading your posts - thanks for the…

Hello again... After a busy couple of weeks of exam results I am looking forward to the last week of holiday before the Autumn Term starts. This summer has flown by so quickly. From very hot when we were in Pembrokeshire to very autumnal this weekend. Tomorrow a couple at church are getting married so we have a bring and…

I am still here just - I've been absent since March but am now planning to log in each day again - it's the only way this weight loss campaign works! My dogs are a big part my life too! Hello ladies - happy weekend! I love the description of logging in as sitting down with a coffee and catching up with friends! That's exactly how I feel. Keep the jokes coming - after all a chuckle a day keeps the doctor at bay! One of my goals was to laugh and this helps!! Walks with dogs or children are never just the…

Dog training night ,,, Result!! Charlie, my black doodle went round the cone! Not just once but continued to do it on command! I was so excited I did a happy dance and got laughed at! Her tail wagged so much she knocked the cone flying! So happy! My next task is to teach her the interrupted A recall with a twist. The A…

Hello ladies! I keep hitting the wrong key and losing my posts! Don't you just love computers! Loved the blossom trees! It reminds me of my dad (84) who told his damson tree last year that he was chopping it down in the spring! This week it has the most beautiful blossoms it looks like it is covered in snow. I'm not sure…

Daffodil time is arriving in the UK. I love the happy faces of the daffodils - the bright yellow dancing always makes me smile! I remember learning the Daffodils poem by Wordsworth when I was at school but it didn't stop me loving the plants. They really herald Spring and encourage optimism! Love it! My dad planted 20,000…

Well done - the first step is the most difficult! Log in everyday and be honest - even if it is a bad day! It works when you commit to it! All the best!

What a beautiful day! Heating off, back door open and washing dried on the line outside! Spring is popping it's head over the wall of winter! Fab! Got my yoga ball and a resistance band. No kettlebells in shop so my Easter Egg will have to wait until we go to the sports superstore with my sport crazy son when he is home…
